MITSUBISHI has extended the warranty period for vehicles, including the hybrid systems of the All-New XFORCE HEV and Mitsubishi Xpander, up to 7 years or 150,000 kilometers, covering existing customers as well.
On 11 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters stated that Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced a new milestone in the hybrid vehicle market by launching an Extended Warranty Program. This program offers coverage for both product quality and hybrid systems for up to 7 years, reflecting confidence in product quality and a commitment to a longer warranty period.
They also emphasized their strong leadership in the hybrid vehicle market by offering benefits to customers who choose to own the All-New XFORCE HEV and Mitsubishi Xpander models, including the Mitsubishi Xpander (HEV) or Xpander Cross HEV, starting from March 2026 GMT+7.
The extended coverage also applies to current owners of these three models from the date of their original launch, providing long-term assurance to customers according to after-sales service standards under the concept, “We take care, you just drive.”
The new Extended Warranty Program increases the vehicle quality warranty to a maximum of 7 years or 150,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), up from the previous 5 years or 100,000 kilometers. The hybrid system warranty is extended to 7 years with unlimited kilometers, up from 5 years unlimited. Coverage is available through Mitsubishi’s network of over 180 service centers nationwide.
This extended warranty also applies to current customers, subject to eligibility conditions. Customers must undergo continuous periodic maintenance every 10,000 kilometers or every 6 months, totaling 10 consecutive services without interruption.
Additionally, customers must hold M-Care membership (a program providing value and cost relief for Mitsubishi vehicle owners who regularly service at authorized centers) at GOLD level or higher and register and update their vehicle information through the M-Drive application to verify membership status.
The hybrid drive battery warranty remains unchanged at 10 years with unlimited kilometers under the original warranty conditions, reflecting the success and recognition of Mitsubishi hybrid vehicles in terms of quality and performance.
Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has impressed customers in all aspects of products and services, known as KANDO, by enhancing peace of mind through this new Extended Warranty Program. This not only increases confidence in owning a hybrid vehicle but also helps customers plan maintenance expenses more effectively.
It also reduces risks after the expiration of the standard 5-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty period, adds value to vehicle ownership, and increases the resale value in the future.
