The MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition, a special model, is set to launch throughout Thailand this year. It stands out by blending MINI’s unique design with Paul Smith’s distinctive style through special body colors, signature trims, and vivid details, harmoniously showcasing the heritage and identity of both brands side by side.
The Paul Smith Edition offers three body colors. Two special signature shades include Statement Grey, inspired by the classic grey of the 1959 MINI Austin 7, and Inspired White, drawing from the popular beige tones found in many classic MINIs. The range is rounded out by the sleek Midnight Black Metallic, reflecting the current generation’s style.
Whichever color you choose, the MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition features a distinctive Nottingham Green roof with the famous Paul Smith Signature Stripe along the driver’s side roof edge. Nottingham Green is a special color symbolizing Sir Paul Smith’s hometown. This green accent also appears on the side mirrors, the octagonal grille, and the wheel hub covers, which are decorated with the Paul Smith lettering.
The MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition features 18-inch Night Flash Spoke alloy wheels in black contrasted with Dark Steel accents. The MINI logos on the front and rear sport a new Black Blue color, harmonizing with Paul Smith’s and MINI’s color themes. The rear door handles are finished in matte black and decorated with Paul Smith’s signature, reflecting the creative energy behind this vehicle’s design.
The interior is stylishly modern, with black woven textures on the dashboard and door panels. The front console features a black-and-grey striped pattern inspired by Paul Smith’s fabric designs. Nightshade Blue sports seats use Vescin material and include woven fabric on the shoulders and headrests. The steering wheel is trimmed with a colorful fabric stripe modeled on Paul Smith’s distinctive design elements.
The round central display screen offers three Paul Smith-themed background images in Personal mode. When the doors open, the driver and front passenger are greeted by projector lights displaying the word “Hello” in a handwritten style on the ground. The lower door sills bear the phrase “Every day is a new beginning,” Paul Smith’s personal motto. The floor mats feature a rabbit graphic drawn by Sir Paul Smith himself.
Performance-wise, the MINI Cooper EV Paul Smith Edition delivers the full “Go-Kart Feeling” driving fun typical of the standard model. Its electric motor outputs up to 218 horsepower (160 kilowatts) to the front wheels, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 170 km/h. It offers an estimated driving range of approximately 402 kilometers per charge, according to the WLTP standard.
The MINI Paul Smith Edition is priced at 1,899,000 baht.
