Toyota Supports Vocational Skills Development Through Hilux Revo Z Edition Pickup Customization Competition

Toyota helped develop vocational skills through the 'Vocational Challenge: Customize with Hilux Revo Z Edition' competition, with the Touch Line team from Chonburi Vocational College of Science and Technology winning the top prize.

Mr. Natthanon Srinivet, Assistant Managing Director of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., said Toyota partnered with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission to hold the third annual 'Vocational Challenge: Customize with Hilux Revo Z Edition.' This event offers vocational students the opportunity to develop and design the Hilux Revo Z Edition pickup under the guidance of expert vehicle customization mentors, promoting legal customization that can develop into future career skills.

"Currently, the vehicle customization market is a highly potential and popular industry, involving not only automakers but also leading custom shops and numerous accessory partners. This presents a significant opportunity to create jobs and generate substantial income for creative young people. Toyota has always valued and supported legal vehicle customization," he added.

He explained that this activity stems from the company’s intention to be part of developing and enhancing the knowledge and abilities of youth under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. They hope this project provides a platform for students to use Toyota vehicles as a basis for design and development.

It also encourages them to unleash their creativity, turning their passion into a stable and scalable career. Mentors, team influencers, and local dealership representatives supported the students to successfully develop their vehicle projects into tangible results.

The competition criteria required each team to design their vehicle using commercially available accessories under the theme 'Z Generation.' Teams presented their Hilux Revo Z Edition designs through 2D or 3D sketches and video clips explaining their concepts or inspirations aligned with the theme.

The results of the Hilux Revo Z Edition pickup customization contest are as follows:

Champion team: The Touch Line team from Chonburi Vocational College of Science and Technology, advised by Ko Street Doc and Toyota Muang Chon, won a 100,000 baht scholarship, a trophy, and a certificate.
