They presented the development direction of their latest technologies and innovations under the theme 'The Era of Physical AI,' unveiling the world’s first right-hand drive vehicle, 'The New XPENG X9,' powered by the advanced Turing AI Chip.

This processor chip is specifically designed for AI systems in vehicles and acts as the 'brain' of the intelligent driver-assistance system. It features a 40-core processor capable of multitasking effectively.
Comparable to having 40 intelligent individuals simultaneously processing data, this chip supports up to 30 billion variables for learning and decision-making. It boasts a processing power of 750 TOPS, meaning it can analyze up to 750 trillion data points per second. This enables the vehicle to rapidly and accurately understand its environment and respond to various situations, minimizing interference from backlighting, low light, or glare. The system detects clearly and at greater distances.

Launch of ‘The New XPENG X9,’ an Ultra-Intelligent 7-Seater.
The new XPENG X9 is a refreshed sporty and highly intelligent electric van, featuring redesigned exterior and interior. It elevates luxury by adding features previously found only in premium vehicles, alongside more advanced technologies. It is equipped with the Turing AI Chip, delivering triple the AI processing power. The exterior maintains the futuristic Starship coupe-style design concept.
The front bumper has been redesigned, now including an Active Grille Shutter system where the lower grille opens and closes automatically to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve energy efficiency. It rides on 20-inch multi-spoke wheels with a Starlight Floating design ensuring the XPENG logo remains upright. Additional features include dual soft-close front doors, an upgraded door panel design with new speaker covers, Ayous wood trim accents, a head-up display on the windshield showing driving data and external camera views, 27-speaker audio system, and interior cameras. All trims feature NAPPA leather seats and a redesigned third-row seat structure that folds flat in a 60:40 split with a single button.
It has a 5C AI Battery Ultra-Fast Charging system with a 110 kWh capacity, supporting DC fast charging up to 542 kW. It can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes and offers a maximum range of 715 km (NEDC). The MPV provides efficient energy use and includes an Active Rear-Wheel Steering System with a 5.4-meter turning radius, nine airbags, and a vehicle stability control system for tire blowouts.
The New XPENG X9 is available in three trims: Premium, Executive, and Luxury AWD, with two new exterior colors—Lambent Cyan and Polar Violet—and a new two-tone interior color called Cloud Rose Brown.
The concept ‘The Era of Physical AI,’ alongside the innovative ‘Turing AI Chip’ and latest intelligent electric vehicles, will be showcased at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show from 25 March to 5 April 2026 at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
