Spotlight on the Most Expensive Booth at Bangkok International Motor Show 2026

Rolls-Royce has become a symbol closely associated with billionaires worldwide, including in Thailand. This status goes beyond basic luxury; it represents a blend of art, engineering, and "social status" that other brands find hard to replicate. The key reasons include unparalleled craftsmanship and the Bespoke program, which allows owners to design nearly 100% of their cars according to their imagination. Choices range from over 44,000 exterior paint shades (or creating new custom colors) to embedding diamonds in the dashboard or using wood sourced from private estates for interior woodwork.

Handcrafted vehicles: Nearly the entire car is hand-assembled by master craftsmen. In 2026, Rolls-Royce expanded its Coachbuild program for top-tier VIP customers to create unique one-off cars, requiring more than four years for design and production.

The "Magic Carpet Ride" experience: Rolls-Royce is renowned for its rare combination of softness and quietness. The cabin's tranquility includes hundreds of kilograms of sound insulation and special foam-injected tires to absorb noise. Some models are so quiet engineers have adjusted them to allow slight sound leakage to prevent passengers from feeling ear pressure. The intelligent Adaptive Air Suspension uses cameras to scan the road ahead and adjusts the air suspension in real time, enabling the car to "float" smoothly over the road.

V12 engine and effortless performance: Although the world is shifting toward EVs, in 2026 most Rolls-Royce customers still demand V12 engines for their smooth and silent power delivery. Rolls-Royce cars are not designed for racing speed but to provide massive torque, allowing the heavy vehicle to accelerate smoothly with gear changes barely noticeable to passengers.

At the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, held from 25 March to 5 April 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, the most expensive car at the event is a Super Luxury model from Rolls-Royce Motorcar Bangkok. According to the latest data, the highest-priced flagship vehicle at this year’s show is:

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II

Rolls-Royce Motor Car Bangkok showcased the Cullinan Series II SUV, an evolution in super-luxury SUVs, at the MGC booth, a major brand in the business. The Cullinan Series II comes loaded with advanced digital control systems named ‘SPIRIT’ and a private owner app called ‘Whispers’. The Spirit of Ecstasy figurine is installed at the base of the dashboard clock. The vehicle is decorated with natural materials, exhibiting contemporary craftsmanship inside and out. The ‘Duality Twill’ seats are stitched with 2.2 million stitches using almost 18 kilometers of thread. The leather seat perforations number over 107,000, inspired by the clouds above Rolls-Royce’s UK headquarters.

The Cullinan Series II is designed mainly for urban use, with most owners preferring to drive themselves rather than use chauffeurs. Its refreshed exterior reflects the sparkling city lights of skyscrapers, with vertically extended daytime running lights that enhance the vehicle’s presence both day and night.

Owners gain exclusive access to the ‘Whispers’ smartphone app, which enables convenient features such as sending locations to the car’s navigation system, remotely tracking the vehicle, and locking or unlocking doors. The Illuminated Fascia dashboard, first introduced on the Ghost and then Spectre models, is now featured on the Cullinan. Laser-cut in over 7,000 varied positions and angles, it allows light to shine through, displaying the word ‘Cullinan’ alongside a nighttime city skyline image. Custom words or images can also be ordered. Another highlight is the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet,’ a new glowing clock with the Spirit of Ecstasy figure, crafted from a single piece of stainless steel for supreme luxury. When passengers open the door, the driver’s instrument cluster lights up, followed by the central display and illuminated dashboard, leading the eye to the glowing Spirit of Ecstasy at the clock base—a high-class light show developed over four years.

The 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II starts at 38,000,000 baht.

Rolls-Royce Spectre
This is Rolls-Royce’s first model powered by electric motors, marking the transition toward zero-emission propulsion. Initially, plans were to cease production of large internal combustion engines (V12) and replace them entirely with electric power by 2030. The Spectre, an ultra-luxury electric super coupe, was set to lead this shift. However, due to the struggling European auto industry and disappointing EV demand—especially among wealthy buyers who still favor combustion engines—luxury EV sales have fallen sharply compared to cheaper Chinese competitors. Consequently, the full transition to electric power has been indefinitely postponed. Customers remain attached to V12 engines and dislike expensive luxury EVs that require lengthy charging times.

The Spectre is powered by two SSM (Separately Excited Synchronous Motors): the front motor produces 258 horsepower (190 kW) and 365 Nm torque, while the rear motor delivers 489 horsepower (360 kW) and 710 Nm torque. This yields performance comparable to a combustion engine car with 584 horsepower (430 kW) and 900 Nm torque. The Spectre accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and offers a maximum range of 530 km on a full charge (WLTP cycle).

Most Spectre buyers own around seven cars and prefer to drive themselves. Rolls-Royce assists customers with home charging installations. The Spectre charges from 10% to 80% in 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC fast charger, providing 100 km of range after 9 minutes of charging. Driver assistance features include Active Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The 102 kWh lithium-ion battery is produced using cobalt and lithium sourced from strictly controlled mines in Australia, Morocco, and Argentina. Battery cells are manufactured with 100% renewable electricity and tested under extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to over 50°C. A smart computer system manages battery temperature to ensure optimal performance.

The 2026 Rolls-Royce Spectre is officially sold in Thailand through Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bangkok, offered in two main versions:

Price list in Thailand
Spectre (Standard) 31,800,000 baht
Black Badge Spectre 41,500,000 baht

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended 2026 Model
Also known as Ghost Series II, this facelift introduces a modern yet classic look true to high-end luxury cars. The major exterior redesign focuses on the front, featuring sleek, tapered LED headlights replacing the previous rectangular shape, flowing toward the grille. The Pantheon grille is illuminated with a slim design. The lower air intake is widened to enhance aerodynamics and convey a sporty yet refined look. The rear LED taillights are inspired by the Spectre, featuring vertical twin LED graphics.

Dimensions for the 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended emphasize rear legroom with a long wheelbase. The car measures 5,716 mm in length, 2,148 mm in width including mirrors, and 1,571 mm in height. The wheelbase is notably long at 3,465 mm, 170 mm longer than the standard model. The vehicle weighs approximately 2,599 kilograms.

Engine and drivetrain: The 2026 Ghost Extended is equipped with a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 571 PS at 5,000 rpm and 850 Nm of torque starting as low as 1,600 rpm. It pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF featuring Satellite Aided Transmission that uses GPS data to optimize gear shifts for the upcoming road. The drivetrain is all-wheel drive (AWD) with four-wheel steering for enhanced maneuverability.

Pricing in Thailand
The 2026 Ghost Extended’s price in Thailand varies depending on Bespoke customization but generally starts between 35,900,000 and 44,000,000 baht. Actual prices depend on import taxes and customer-selected options, often exceeding the base price significantly.
