Yamaha unveiled the universe of uniqueness, “YAMAHA THE UNIQUEVERSE,” bringing PHEV and HEV technology to Thailand for the first time, along with launching a wide range of new models at Motor Show 2026.
Pongsathorn Euamongkolchai, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Hidehiko Takagi, Deputy CEO, together with senior executives of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., collaborated with Dr. Prajin Eamlumnow, Chairman of the event, Mr. Jaturot Komolmis, Vice Chairman, Mr. Peeraphong Eamlumnow, CEO, and Mr. Anothai Eamlumnow, Executive Director of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, to officially open the “YAMAHA THE UNIQUEVERSE” booth at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show.
Yamaha excited attendees by presenting future vehicle technologies: YAMAHA PROTO PHEV and YAMAHA HEV for the first time in Thailand. These plug-in hybrid and hybrid drive systems offer enjoyable riding, energy savings, and pollution reduction, reinforcing Yamaha’s vision for sustainable innovation. The launch included two main new series:

• YAMAHA AEROX SP, a supersport automatic equipped with YECVT system to enhance performance control.
• YAMAHA TRACER9 and TRACER9 GT+, featuring for the first time a Matrix LED Headlight that intelligently adjusts lighting based on traffic conditions, along with radar and Adaptive Cruise Control in the GT+ model to improve safety and reduce travel fatigue.
• YAMAHA R9, a championship-bred WSBK sportbike, including a special 70th Anniversary edition.
• YAMAHA R15M, a top-spec 155cc sportbike, also offered in a special 70th Anniversary edition.

• YAMAHA FAZZIO with seven new colors, divided into Smart Key (3 colors) and Lite (4 colors) versions.

• YAMAHA TMAX Tech MAX 25th Anniversary, officially priced as the ultimate model in the MAX Series.
