OMODA & JAECOO, electric vehicle brands, are presenting intriguing new models at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026. Highlights include new product launches, brand ambassador introductions, and smart technology demonstrations aimed at transforming the driving experience. In 2025, OMODA & JAECOO Thailand delivered over 18,030 vehicles, reflecting strong growth and trust from Thai consumers. Globally, the brands have expanded to 64 countries with cumulative deliveries of 800,000 units within three years since establishment, demonstrating rapid growth and international recognition.
The highlight this year is the launch of THE NEW OMODA C5 EV MAX+ with a projected price of 700,000 baht. During the Motor Show from 23 March to 5 April 2026, pre-registrations are accepted at a special price of 629,000 baht (adjusting to 649,000 baht from 6 April 2026 onward). Its ROBO SHARK Design concept features sleek, agile, and futuristic lines, equipped with comprehensive smart technologies. THE NEW OMODA C5 EV MAX+
The design showcases sharp lines, LED headlights with lightning motifs, and full-length rear lights that enhance its sporty and modern look. Safety standards include 19 ADAS functions, a 540° surround-view camera system, and a high-strength steel frame covering 78% of the body. It uses a durable LFP battery resistant to impact and heat, preventing explosions or sparks, with an IP68 water resistance rating allowing it to wade through 45 cm of water for up to 30 minutes, delivering superior safety.
The interior features a 15.6-inch 2K HD screen that adapts to ambient conditions, a Sony sound system with 8 speakers, and a driver’s seat adjustable in 6 directions with a 4-direction electric lumbar support. The seat offers various adjustable massage modes and intensities, front seats include ventilation systems, along with Camp Mode and Pet Mode functions.
Performance-wise, it has a 211-horsepower motor with a driving range of 422 km per charge, suitable for daily use and adaptable for both urban and rural driving conditions.

At this event, OMODA & JAECOO also introduced the new brand ambassador for OMODA, Davika Hoorne, who represents the brand’s image aimed at stylish, confident young people who boldly express their unique tastes and lifestyles, helping to widely promote THE NEW OMODA C5 EV MAX+ throughout Thailand.
Additionally, they launched the JAECOO 5 EV MAX+, an electric vehicle featuring a new 50.6 kWh battery, notable for its value, comprehensive features, and suitability for modern family needs. During the Motor Show from 23 March to 5 April 2026, pre-registrations are accepted at a special price of 579,000 baht* (increasing to the 600,000-baht range from 6 April 2026 onward). Another innovation attracting attention is “Mornine,” a smart robot from Chery Group developed to showcase the brand’s technological and innovative capabilities. OMODA & JAECOO also announced plans for local assembly (KD) of the OMODA C5 EV MAX+, JAECOO 5 EV MAX+, JAECOO 6 EV Long Range 4WD, and JAECOO 6 EV 2WD MAX. This milestone demonstrates the company’s commitment to making high-quality electric vehicles more accessible to Thai consumers. The Thai factory is currently progressing as planned, with production slated to begin in April 2026. Local assembly will enhance parts availability, after-sales service, and long-term customer support, ensuring easier and more convenient service access nationwide.
