Mr. Pongsak Lertrudeevatanawong, Deputy Managing Director of MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said that following the official launch of MG's new models last week at Motor Show 2026, customer interest and demand for 100% electric vehicles surged beyond expectations, with over 5,000 orders received.
The NEW MG S5 EV and NEW MG4 MY2026 are the most popular models at the event, meeting consumers' needs for electric vehicles that provide a confident driving experience and daily practicality. Combined orders for these two models exceed 3,500 units, with deliveries to customers scheduled to begin in April.
Meanwhile, the MG IM5, a premium intelligent electric vehicle recognized as The 1st Premium Intelligent e-Sedan, stands out with its attractive design, advanced technology, and agile driving, fully catering to the needs of modern customers.
Thanks to its superior features, the MG IM5 has nearly 500 orders. Deliveries to the first group of customers will start in early April, with all initial orders expected to be fulfilled by July.
The company is very pleased with the positive response from Thai customers, resulting in MG electric vehicles surpassing their sales targets. This reflects strong consumer confidence in the MG brand and the continuous growth of the electric vehicle market.
