BYD Leads Booking Charts at Motor Show with ATTO3 as Champion

Booking data for BYD cars at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, held from 23 March to 5 April 2026, indicate that BYD continues to attract significant interest this year. This is especially notable amid rising oil prices (diesel reaching 50 baht per liter), which has made battery electric vehicles (BEVs) the primary choice for attendees.

Total accumulated bookings throughout the event have soared beyond 41,778 units, with Chinese electric vehicle brands firmly holding spots in the Top 5. Despite new competitors and secondary brands entering the market this year (such as OMODA & JAECOO, GEELY, MG) posting similar booking figures near the top, BYD has maintained its lead. Its flagship models, BYD Dolphin and Atto 3, continue to perform strongly.

Nationwide bookings for BYD vehicles during the 47th Motor Show reached 17,354 units. Including Denza, the combined bookings total 18,057 units.

Popular models in 2026

In addition to the original standard models, the BYD ATTO3, which has been in the Thai market since its debut, remains popular, with 3,565 units booked. The DOLPHIN follows at 3,250 units, and the Seal Lion 6 D-Mi PHEV records 2,406 units. These numbers bring BYD's total bookings to 18,057 units, making it the top-selling brand at the 47th Motor Show.
