OMODA & JAECOO announced another success for their premium electric vehicles, gaining consumer confidence with 15,088 bookings during the Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, held from 25 March to 5 April 2026.This achievement placed OMODA & JAECOO second among the most popular electric vehicle brands at the event, reflecting Thai consumers' trust in the brand and its ability to develop products that precisely meet their needs with modern design and advanced electric drive technology.
The key drivers behind this success were two main models warmly received by customers. Leading the way was the JAECOO 5 EV, the most popular model at the booth, backed by the highest electric vehicle registrations in Thailand from January to March 2026. Its popularity stems from the “Accessible Premium” concept, offering consumers access to luxury and smart technology at a reasonable price, complete with advanced safety features and modern design tailored for the needs of contemporary Thai families.
Meanwhile, THE NEW OMODA C5 EV ranked second in popularity, successfully attracting consumers seeking an entry-level electric vehicle equipped with comprehensive features and functions. It delivers performance and safety meeting all demands, ideal for daily use, combined with the distinctive ROBOSHARK design that embodies modernity and premium quality, making it a valuable choice for buyers wanting maximum return on investment.
In addition to the popular JAECOO 5 EV and THE NEW OMODA C5 EV models at this year’s Motor Show, OMODA & JAECOO also showcased the JAECOO 6 EV and JAECOO 6T EV, premium 100% electric off-road vehicles featuring a unique One Box Style design that adds toughness and clearly expresses the brand’s strong identity.
This sales success reflects consumer trust in OMODA & JAECOO and reinforces the company’s commitment and readiness to develop electric vehicles equipped with modern technology, excellent safety standards, and accessible pricing.
Following delays and confusion over the Rayong plant opening, the domestic assembly (KD) began deliveries in April 2026, alongside plans to officially open the assembly plant on 20 April 2026. The company also aims to strengthen long-term customer support by expanding its nationwide dealer network to 90 locations by mid-year, supporting market growth and enhancing service readiness in line with the company’s growth plans in Thailand.
