ARV led two group companies, ROVULA and SKYLLER SOLUTIONS, to showcase Thai innovation on the global stage at OTC Asia 2026, demonstrating technology capabilities in underwater and aerial exploration, transforming the industry by enhancing Inspection technology efficiency and performance.
AI & Robotics Ventures Co., Ltd. (ARV), along with its group companies ROVULA (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and SKYLLER SOLUTIONS Co., Ltd., reinforced Thai innovation's global potential by participating in the Offshore Technology Conference Asia (OTC Asia) 2026 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia.
At this event, ARV and its group companies exhibited technologies under the booth of Elsa Energy Sdn. Bhd., their business partner and local distributor in Malaysia.
A key highlight was the presentation of the XPLORER autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) developed by ROVULA, alongside SKYLLER SOLUTIONS’ aerial Inspection technology, designed specifically to address challenges in the oil and gas industry’s inspection work.
Pakchan Hunsoowan, co-founder of ROVULA (Thailand) Co., Ltd., shared the company’s success in entering the Malaysian market with this technology since 2025, emphasizing their vision to continuously expand and enhance comprehensive solutions.
● Engineering Performance and Design: Weighing 850 kilograms, powered by an 8-propeller system, capable of diving and operating at depths up to 300 meters.
● Autonomous Operation: Equipped with advanced onboard intelligence allowing tetherless wireless operation.
● Cost-effectiveness: Can be controlled via a general support vessel with DP1 capability, significantly reducing project operational costs.
"The key advantage of XPLORER that revolutionizes traditional methods is its ability to reduce operational costs by working with smaller DP1 support vessels, unlike conventional underwater surveys that require tethered ROVs and large DP2 vessels with high daily rental fees, which are major project costs," he explained.
In addition to ROVULA, SKYLLER SOLUTIONS, another ARV group company, presented aerial Inspection technology to advance asset inspection and data management accuracy, enabling asset owners to make faster, more precise decisions and enhance industrial asset integrity management, featuring:
• Drone Inspection Solutions: Drone-based inspection of hazardous and hard-to-reach areas.
• Gas Emission Monitoring: Detection of gas leaks using drones, sensors, and satellites.
• Skyller Platform: An asset inspection platform that collects and manages field data, analyzes results with AI to convert data into actionable insights, and presents findings.
Beyond technology showcases, a significant highlight was the regional industry seminar where Milint Jiwaphat, general manager of AI & Robotics Ventures Co., Ltd., was honored as an expert panelist on the topic "Autonomous Horizons: Harnessing Digital Innovation for Offshore Operations and Monitoring," alongside senior executives from global leaders such as Microsoft, TotalEnergies, and GE Vernova.
The discussion focused on exchanging perspectives on technology-driven offshore operations, including inspection, maintenance, and asset status monitoring to enhance availability and reduce operational risks.
Milint stated that implementing automation is not about replacing humans but removing people from hazardous environments. Given the unpredictable marine conditions, effective technology must work within constraints and provide concrete solutions that justify investment by genuinely lowering costs.
For routine inspections like pipeline monitoring, automation systems such as XPLORER can take over, allowing personnel to dedicate time and data toward more critical strategic analysis and decision-making.
Another key factor behind XPLORER’s success is strong partnerships that enable real-world operational deployment of the technology, supporting continuous technological advancement.
Participation in OTC Asia 2026 marks a significant milestone reflecting ARV and its group companies’ commitment to driving digital innovation and automation technology to transform the offshore energy industry in the region, focusing on demonstrable improvements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability through collaboration with all partners.
/ PTG Energy Public Company Limited (PTG) reaffirmed its “Well-being” vision by continuing collaboration with Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University’s Faculty of Medicine, advancing its annual 2026 blood donation project targeting private sector agencies with a mobile blood donation unit at Nakorn Luang District Office, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
The event saw cooperation from SCG JWD Logistics, employees from various organizations, and local government officials, all joining in blood donation efforts to help address the national blood shortage crisis in a meaningful way.
Additionally, the event featured special discounted engine oil changes by Maxnitron, a PTG affiliate, with integrated services provided by faculty and students from the Automotive Technology Department, Maharaj Vocational College, combining professional skill training with convenience for both public and private sector personnel attending.
