Thai Honda appoints Mr. Masayuki Hamamatsu as the new Chief Executive Officer, moving forward to strengthen the organization and enhance customer satisfaction and experience at every touchpoint.
Thai Honda Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of Honda motorcycles and multipurpose engines in Thailand, announced the appointment of Mr. Masayuki Hamamatsu as its new CEO, effective 1 April 2026.
Mr. Masayuki Hamamatsu began his career with Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan in 1994, accumulating over 32 years of experience in the motorcycle industry. Before assuming his role in Thailand, he served as Assistant Vice President at Honda's headquarters in Japan.
He played a key role overseeing the motorcycle and multipurpose engine business, as well as driving electric vehicle strategies to lay the foundation for Honda's future innovations worldwide.
Additionally, he has management experience across various markets in Asia and Europe, including Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, and Australia, demonstrating expertise in business strategy, automotive technology, and organizational leadership in highly competitive environments.
His appointment marks an important step in strengthening Thai Honda, continuing the mission from Mr. Yuichi Shimizu, whose term as CEO ended on 31 March 2026.
This leadership transition aims to elevate confidence in product quality, technology, and future business direction, while building trust with customers and partners, reinforcing Thai Honda's position as a stable and sustainable market leader in motorcycles in Thailand.
