
OMODA & JAECOO celebrate their 3rd anniversary grandly, announcing cumulative global sales exceeding one million units. They are moving forward by accelerating production of the OMODA 4 and reaffirming the success of the OMODA 7 and JAECOO 7.
Mr. Shawn Xu, Vice President of Chery International and CEO of OMODA & JAECOO International, stated that since the global launch in 2023, OMODA & JAECOO have grown and expanded operations into 69 key markets worldwide, establishing a dealer network of over 1,364 locations. Europe has become the main market driving significant growth, accounting for more than 40% of global sales.
While other markets continue to grow steadily, this global expansion, combined with a diverse product lineup and advanced hybrid technology, forms a key foundation that gives the brand confidence in achieving an annual sales target of one million units by 2027.
Additionally, in the United Kingdom, OMODA & JAECOO rank 6th among brands with a market share of 4.7%, selling 17,951 units in a single month, confirming strong consumer confidence. The JAECOO 7 SHS-P has become a global benchmark for plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs).
Moreover, the JAECOO 5 EV has reached monthly sales of 20,000 units within just nine months of its launch, ranking number one in electric vehicle sales in several markets, including Indonesia and Thailand. In Thailand, JAECOO 5 EV registrations have been number one for five consecutive months (November 2025 to March 2026, by model). The OMODA 5 SHS-H has accumulated over 400,000 global sales, with the hybrid model (HEV) ranking third in several major markets.
In Thailand, THE NEW OMODA C5 EV was officially launched at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show, reinforcing its image as more than just a vehicle but a part of personal identity through distinctive design and advanced technology. THE NEW OMODA C5 EV is designed for the lifestyle of the new generation.
Under the ROBO SHARK Design concept, it features full-length LED headlights and taillights. The cabin includes a 15.6-inch central 2K resolution screen, Sony sound system, PM 0.3 air filter, and intelligent seats. Driving confidence is enhanced by 19 ADAS driver-assist functions, a 540° surround camera system, and a maximum range of 422 kilometers per charge.

On 26 April 2026, OMODA & JAECOO reinforced their success with a ceremony delivering the first OMODA 4 units from the production line. Thai customers awaiting the OMODA 4 launch will see this EV model enter the Thai market as the brand’s flagship by 2026.
