This presentation at Auto China 2026 demonstrates CHANGAN Group’s strength in advancing global strategies alongside developing its subsidiaries DEEPAL and AVATR to compete sustainably in the modern international automotive market.
Zhao Fei, General Manager of CHANGAN Group, stated, “Today, we launch Vast Ocean Plan 2.0 with greater commitment and a broader vision. We remain committed to long-term development principles, conducting business aligned with local contexts, systematic management, and emphasizing ESG. We are elevating our business from an export model to a comprehensive global operation covering production, trade, investment, services, and sustainability.”
Strengthening the roadmap to the global market
The Vast Ocean Plan 2.0 builds on the “1+4+4+5” strategic framework, aiming to expand the business globally as a core element of organizational transformation toward internationalization. The goal is to grow business fivefold by 2030, including overseas sales. This strategy marks a shift from the “Go Global” concept to “Global Localization,” establishing solid foundations in overseas markets to systematically evolve from export to comprehensive global operations.
In 2025, CHANGAN’s overseas sales reached 637,000 units, an 18.9% increase from the previous year. The company expanded into 21 new markets, launched 12 new models, and operates in 118 countries and regions through 1,124 dealerships. Currently, CHANGAN has 22 overseas production bases with a combined annual capacity of 350,000 units and offers a global product portfolio of 41 models, comprising 25 internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and 16 new energy vehicles (NEVs).
Elevating strategy across seven key areas
CHANGAN targets overseas sales of 1.5 million units by 2030, with an ambitious goal of 1.8 million units by 2030. To achieve this, CHANGAN plans to enhance operations in seven key areas:
1) Technology: Focus on user-centric development, advancing safety technology, efficiency, and intelligent systems integrating BlueCore Hybrid, SDA Intelligence, and next-generation energy solutions.
2) Products: Shift from China-centric development to a “Global-first” approach, adapting products to suit local markets and individual countries.
3) Brand: Enhance brand image in technology, reliability, and consumer trust.
4) Partnerships: Expand collaboration in technology, production, and market development.
5) Investment: Prioritize investment in R&D, brand building, and creating a comprehensive business network.
6) Services: Develop global-standard after-sales services with rapid response and skilled local teams.
7) Talent: Strengthen an international team with expertise and deep market understanding.
Leading with hybrid innovations and driverless logistics
CHANGAN also presented technologies addressing diverse needs, from personal vehicles to commercial logistics. CHANGAN KAICHENG introduced Robovan, a driverless vehicle for last-mile delivery, developed with SDA technology and multi-layer redundant safety systems to operate reliably in all weather conditions. The company has also begun strategic cooperation with JD Logistics.
For personal vehicles, CHANGAN launched the BlueCore Hybrid technology in the new generation EADO and CS75 PLUS models.
This technology is based on iDE-H, combining a high-pressure 500-bar hybrid engine, high-efficiency electrical systems, and AI Cloud Control. Key features include:
Fuel consumption as low as 1.6 liters per 100 km (EADO).
A driving range up to 1,500 km on a full tank.
Over 20,000 hours of testing and 2 million kilometers of road testing.
Emergency scenario support, such as tire burst tests at speeds of 225 km/h.
The CS75 PLUS emphasizes performance and comfort, equipped with a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension system.
This CDC technology is unique within its segment.
Starting with the AVATR brand, it unveiled the “VISION XPECTRA” concept car for the first time in Asia, revealing AVATR’s next-generation design under the "Emotive Luxury" concept—a new definition blending luxury design and intelligent technology to deliver superior luxury driving experiences. The brand also launched the flagship AVATR 06T model, enhancing performance, intelligent systems, and safety.
The AVATR 06T is a premium sports sedan with supercar-level performance, offered in five variants with EV and REEV powertrains. It highlights the “6T Product Value,” designed to meet the needs of “Lifestyle Pioneers,” young consumers who view their car as more than transportation—a symbol of identity and refined driving pleasure. It features sporty design, smart technology, high performance, a modern interior, advanced safety systems, innovative batteries, and fast charging developed with key partners Huawei and CATL. Safety standards exceed Chinese regulations, and all models use CATL batteries, enhancing confidence in long-term quality.
Official prices range from 215,900 to 275,900 yuan.
DEEPAL presented six main models, including DEEPAL L06 Max, DEEPAL 560 Max, DEEPAL 670 Max, and L06 REEV. The highlight at the event was DEEPAL L06 Max, awarded “Handling Car of the Year” at the CCTV Auto Gala. It stands out for driving performance, safety systems, and high-standard CATL and Golden Shield batteries, with 3C fast charging (30–80% in 15 minutes). It features magnetorheological suspension similar to luxury cars, offering precise and responsive control. It set a Moose Test record for emergency maneuvering at 85.6 km/h, ranking first above million-yuan supercars.
Additionally, DEEPAL launched the L06 REEV model in partnership with JD under the National Favorite Car 2.0 project. Debuted at Beijing Auto China 2026, it emphasizes intelligence, performance, and energy efficiency, delivering a smart travel experience suited for modern users.
