Suzuki Launches SUZUKI JIMNY in Thai Market Starting at 1.59 Million Baht, Limited to First 50 Units

Suzuki continues its off-road legacy by launching the SUZUKI JIMNY, upgraded with advanced safety technology, starting at 1.59 million baht, limited to the first 50 units.

Tadaomi Suzuki, Chief Executive Officer of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said since the launch of the SUZUKI JIMNY in Thailand under the slogan Nobody But Jimny, it has revitalized the small off-road vehicle market in Thailand. This has led to a sustained demand for this legendary off-road icon, making it a highly successful model.

Recently, to continue this success and reinforce the strength of this legendary rugged vehicle, while meeting ongoing customer demand, Suzuki introduces the SUZUKI JIMNY equipped with the comprehensive advanced intelligent safety system, Suzuki Safety Support.


This aims to boost driver confidence in every journey by seamlessly combining the four-wheel drive performance with intelligent safety technology, which has been newly integrated to work together smartly.

Beyond enhancing driving safety, the SUZUKI JIMNY builds driver confidence across diverse road conditions and challenging off-road routes, supporting both daily use and adventurous journeys on all terrains.


SUZUKI JIMNY Powertrain

The SUZUKI JIMNY is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B four-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 102 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 130 Newton-meters at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

It features the ALLGRIP PRO four-wheel drive system with Low Transfer Gear, allowing easy selection between four-wheel and two-wheel drive modes suitable for various situations, along with agile handling enabled by a tight turning radius of just 4.9 meters.


Additionally, the SUZUKI JIMNY comes with Suzuki Safety Support and comprehensive standard safety features, including six SRS airbags, two rear child seat anchors, and a robust side impact beam.

It also includes anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability program (ESP), hill-start assist, hill descent control, and a rearview camera, among other safety systems.

SUZUKI JIMNY Pricing in Thailand

  • The SUZUKI JIMNY automatic transmission Mono Tone version is priced at 1,590,000 baht.
  • The SUZUKI JIMNY automatic transmission Two Tone version is priced at 1,620,000 baht.

Tadaomi Suzuki added that Suzuki currently has a network of 80 showrooms nationwide, supported by 44 standard body and paint repair centers. Moreover, it has enhanced customer convenience with Mobile Service for basic maintenance and check-ups at customers' locations.


Suzuki is also accelerating the expansion of its 2S (Service & Spare Parts) standard service centers to operate alongside the main 3S (Sales, Service & Spare Parts) centers, enabling customers to access faster and more comprehensive services across all regions.
