The CHANGAN NEVO Q05 is an intelligent electric SUV designed for modern urban life by a world-class designer. The exterior design of the CHANGAN NEVO Q05 was created by Klaus Zyciora, a renowned global designer with many significant achievements. The Q05’s design emphasizes balanced vehicle proportions, with a width-to-height ratio of 1.15, a ratio typical of premium cars. This gives the vehicle a stable, elegant, and harmonious appearance. The car has an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd to enhance efficiency and reduce energy loss while driving. It features 18-inch alloy wheels that boost its distinctive image and comes in five exterior colors that express the driver’s personality.
Cabin
The NEVO Q05’s cabin is designed to be spacious and comfortable for all passengers. Its 2,735 mm wheelbase increases interior space for a roomy feel. Rear passengers have a generous knee clearance of 320 mm for comfort on long trips. The seats are ergonomically developed with a nine-layer composite structure, providing softness, resilience, and effective body support. The front seats recline up to 165°, while the rear seats offer two reclining positions to enhance rear passenger relaxation. Additionally, over 80% of the cabin uses soft-touch materials, giving a premium tactile experience.
Storage
The NEVO Q05 offers ample storage designed to meet daily needs efficiently. The rear cargo area holds 450 liters, with an additional 90 liters of hidden storage beneath the floor, totaling 540 liters. The rear seats fold 60:40 to expand cargo capacity up to 1,380 liters, providing versatility for various storage situations. The cabin enhances convenience with a 14.6-inch touchscreen central display paired with a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster that delivers comprehensive driving and entertainment information. It features intelligent voice control and supports smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with online multimedia streaming. The vehicle also supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates, making the cabin a mobile living room on every trip.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
The NEVO Q05 is equipped with an advanced ADAS intelligent driver-assistance system to enhance safety and comfort during travel. It includes a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera system, a translucent vehicle display, and a 360-degree driving video recorder. The car also supports remote control and vehicle status monitoring through a smartphone app, making daily vehicle use easier and more convenient.
Charging
The NEVO Q05 uses batteries from CATL, a world-leading battery manufacturer, ensuring safety and performance reliability. It supports 3C fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, enabling quick resume of driving and confident continuation of journeys.
The NEVO Q05 is the second model produced at the Rayong factory in Thailand, which also serves as a production base for exports to other regional countries. The model sold 15,841 units in China as of May 2026 and held the number one spot in the compact electric SUV segment in China for two consecutive months.
