Chery Thailand has launched the Chery Q, a small electric car combining cuteness, modernity, practical functions, driving technology, and comprehensive safety features, priced from 469,900 baht. Thailand is a key strategic market for CHERY in Southeast Asia. The company continues to invest and lay long-term business foundations to support future growth. Success in the first half of the year reflects the brand's potential and acceptance among Thai consumers. A major milestone is the progress of CHERY's 5 billion baht automobile assembly plant in Rayong Province, covering 104 rai, serving as a key production base to support business expansion in Thailand and the region. Meanwhile, CHERY is expanding its 3S dealership network, currently at 55 locations nationwide, aiming to increase showrooms and service centers to 70 by the end of 2026, enhancing product and service accessibility across all regions.
To strengthen after-sales service, from August 2026 onward, CHERY plans to open a Certified Body and Paint repair center, providing comprehensive services. CHERY customers will benefit from convenience via partnerships with leading insurance companies, along with fast, standardized repairs nationwide. This reflects the company's commitment to elevating service experiences and maximizing customer satisfaction long-term. Additionally, plans include expanding spare parts warehouse space from 5,000 to 10,000 square meters in the Bangna–Trat area to support growth in CHERY vehicle numbers in Thailand and improve spare parts management efficiency. The company has allocated over 34 million baht to establish a technical and after-sales service training center, scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, to enhance knowledge, skills, and service standards aligned with CHERY's global benchmarks and support future business growth.
