Motorcycle Arena: InfoComm Asia 2026 Kicks Off Elevating Thailand’s Pro AV and AI

InfoComm Asia 2026 has opened as the 6th edition of Asia’s leading professional audiovisual (Pro AV) technology exhibition.

Sarah Joyce, Global Chief of Staff at the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), said artificial intelligence is transforming the Pro AV industry from a communication support technology into a core driver of digital organizations.

AI is currently applied in many areas including smart meeting room management, education, healthcare, retail, broadcasting, event management, and creating new immersive consumer experiences.

This shift has elevated Pro AV beyond its traditional role as just audiovisual systems for meeting rooms or stages, evolving into essential communication infrastructure for modern organizations by integrating hardware, software, networking, and AI to boost operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and support real-time data-driven decisions.

InfoComm Asia 2026 opened with a keynote titled "The Invisible Revolution: How AI is Rewriting the Rules of Human Experience" by Kenny Tay, CEO of the Singapore Artificial Intelligence Association, presenting AI’s impact on business operations, digital transformation, and technology adoption in organizations.

The event also featured a panel discussion "From Strategy to Reality: What AI Means for the Way We Work, Connect, and Compete," gathering experts from public and private sectors including Dr. Kritphaka Boonfueng, Director of the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Anna Akopyan, CEO and founder of Safegate AI, and Sujith Siwaram, Managing Director of ESCO Group, moderated by Pamela M. Taggart, AVIXA’s VP of Content Creation.

InfoComm Asia 2026 serves as a platform connecting technology developers with investment decision-makers from diverse industries driving Pro AV market demand, such as large corporations, government agencies, real estate developers, education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, events, broadcasting, media, and the creative industries.

Attendees include senior executives, technology policy makers, system designers, IT and Pro AV consultants, system integrators, and end users seeking new solutions to support AI and digital transformation.

Moreover, InfoComm Asia 2026 welcomes over 65 pre-qualified invited buyers from 13 countries with approved combined purchasing budgets exceeding 73 million USD. Bringing buyers and sellers together under one ecosystem makes this event a key opportunity for business and investment in the regional Pro AV industry.

Over three days, the event features networking activities, experiential events, and business matchmaking among exhibitors, invited buyers, investors, and partners through programs such as Welcome Networking Event, Connect After, AVIXA Xchange LIVE, and Tech Tours.

One notable activity is the Smart Workplace Experience, held with UDD Technologies at booth G10, demonstrating how integrated technology can enhance employee collaboration, improve workplace experience, optimize building management, and boost organizational productivity.

Another highly anticipated special activity is the Tech Tour visiting Kantana Virtual Production Studio, showcasing the future of storytelling with real-time background switching technology, advanced lighting control, and seamless In-Camera VFX (ICVFX) powered by Unreal Engine environments.

A major highlight of InfoComm Asia 2026 is participation by over 100 leading Pro AV companies and brands from Thailand and worldwide, presenting products and solutions supporting the AI-driven transition, including smart meeting room systems, high-resolution display technologies, large LED screens, professional audio, network infrastructure, virtual media production technology, smart security, and communication solutions for education and organizations.
