The new generation LEXUS ES redefines the luxury sedan with a sportier and more futuristic look, expanding its body and wheelbase to increase cabin space. It launches with two options: the LEXUS ES350h featuring a 6th generation hybrid powertrain, and the LEXUS ES350e electric vehicle claiming a maximum driving range of 620 kilometers.
On 13 Aug 2023 GMT+7, Lexus Thailand unveiled the new generation LEXUS ES, which retains its hallmark luxury and smooth ride quality while adding a sportier character and modern technology. This upgrade elevates the brand’s key luxury sedan to better meet the needs of both drivers and passengers.

Although the appearance has evolved to a sleeker style, the car still expresses the ES identity through its body proportions, interior layout, and exterior design details that blend elegance with sporty lines harmoniously.
The vehicle measures 5,140 millimeters long and 1,920 millimeters wide, with a wheelbase just under 3 meters, making it noticeably larger than its predecessor. The C-pillar extends all the way to the trunk lid, increasing interior space, especially in the rear seats, which remain a key selling point for the ES.
The seats have been redesigned to be slimmer yet still focus on comfort, upholstered in special soft Semi-Aniline Leather available in two colors: black and Hazel, creating a luxurious and warm cabin atmosphere.
The interior adopts a new design philosophy called the Revolution Tatsuna Cockpit, aimed at creating a sense of unity between driver and car, with elements arranged for clarity and ease of use. A standout feature making the new LEXUS ES feel more advanced is the redesigned central touchscreen and the driver’s MID display, which are neatly organized, easy to read, and feature an interface style never before used in Lexus vehicles.
Both the ES350h Grand Luxury and ES350e Premium come equipped with the Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System, featuring 17 speakers and a maximum output of 1,800 watts, enhancing the in-cabin entertainment experience.
The ES350e Premium adds distinctive touches with Bamboo Layering trim and a Surface Emitting Ornamentation system designed exclusively for the ES, integrating into the lighting design to create unique lighting dimensions and ambiance inside the cabin.
The ES350h Grand Luxury is powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine, code A25A-FXS, paired with a 6th generation hybrid system and a lithium-ion hybrid battery, delivering a maximum output of 247 horsepower.
The car accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.7 seconds, with a fuel consumption rating of 22.72 kilometers per liter, reflecting performance improvements alongside better fuel efficiency.
The ES350e Premium, an electric vehicle, uses a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 224 horsepower, paired with a 76.96 kWh battery pack that supports a maximum driving range of 620 kilometers per full charge, based on the NEDC standard.
The front suspension uses a MacPherson strut design, while the rear employs a multi-link setup with an anti-roll bar. The ES350h Grand Luxury features Swing Valve shock absorbers, whereas the ES350e Premium is equipped with an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) with electronic dampers.
This suspension upgrade focuses on enhancing vibration absorption and road surface detail capture across all speeds, while adjusting the steering ratio to match the new suspension for more precise handling and greater driving enjoyment, without sacrificing the signature smoothness of the LEXUS ES.
