GEELY RIDDARA THAILAND is expanding its new energy pickup customer base in Thailand by launching the ALL-NEW GEELY RIDDARA ECON L with both 2WD and 4WD systems. It features a standout 1,765 mm long cargo bed—the longest among 4-door pickups and comparable to the market's half-cab pickups—catering to both commercial use and travel needs. At the BIG Motor Sale event, the NEW GEELY RIDDARA RD6 MY2026 was introduced with a refreshed look featuring an LED illuminated front grille and upgraded in-cabin connectivity technology to maintain its position in the electric lifestyle pickup segment.
Akira Nispakul, Sales Director, revealed that RIDDARA's sales of 4-door pickups have slowed less than the overall market, showing continuous growth over the past seven months. At the BIG Motor Sale 2026, held from 21-30 August at BITEC Bangna (Booth A07/2), the brand has prepared special financial campaigns to boost mid-year bookings.
GEELY RIDDARA ECON L targets the commercial electric pickup market, emphasizing its 1,765 mm long cargo bed and achieving 185% sales growth.
GEELY RIDDARA THAILAND reported that from January to July 2026, sales grew 185% compared to the same period last year, delivering 1,396 units. This resulted in RIDDARA capturing an 85% market share in the new energy vehicle (NEV) pickup segment, with a cumulative registration of 1,177 units, moving up to fourth place in the 4-door electric pickup segment in June and July.
Sales Director Akira Nispakul stated that the company plans to expand its customer base among general buyers and large fleet clients in the second half of the year by adding new sub-models: the ECON series with three models focusing on commercial value, and RD6 MY2026 with four sub-models emphasizing smart functions and SUV-style driving, alongside expanding the dealership and service network from 29 to 40 locations nationwide by the end of 2026.
A key highlight is the launch of the ALL-NEW GEELY RIDDARA ECON L, a 4-door electric pickup with an extended cargo bed length increased by 240 mm to a total of 1,765 mm, offering a 1,380-liter capacity comparable to a half-cab pickup (Space Cab). The bed floor uses corrosion-resistant STC material for heavy-duty loading, while maintaining the spacious rear cabin typical of 4-door pickups.
The ECON L drivetrain features a 73 kWh LFP battery supporting DC fast charging up to 90 kW (charging from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes). The brand states that its energy cost per kilometer is about 20% lower than internal combustion engine pickups, addressing cost reduction needs for transport businesses and SMEs.

For 2026, GEELY RIDDARA has upgraded luxury features to clearly differentiate the RD6 from the ECON models, including installing an LED front grille with a large RIDDARA logo on both the 2WD and 4WD RD6 models, while all ECON sub-models feature a glossy black grille.
Beyond the illuminated LED logo, the NEW GEELY RIDDARA RD6 MY2026 delivers superior performance with 315 kW power and 595 Nm torque, achieving a maximum driving range of up to 503 km (NEDC).
The NEW GEELY RIDDARA RD6 MY2026 targets both commercial and family users, with its dual electric motors enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h.
It comes equipped with premium features including a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, 540-degree surround-view camera, seven driving modes, and 14 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
