Mitsubishi Motors Corporation officially launched the All-New Mitsubishi Pajero, a fully redesigned Cross-Country SUV, in a world premiere. It is positioned as the new flagship model, reflecting the future direction and identity of Mitsubishi Motors.
The All-New Pajero will be produced at Mitsubishi Motors' manufacturing base in Thailand and will first be marketed there before launching in Japan and Australia within fiscal year 2026, spanning April 2026 to March 2027.
Starting fiscal year 2027, the company plans to gradually introduce this model in approximately 100 countries worldwide, covering ASEAN, Latin America, and the Middle East regions.
Mitsubishi Pajero First launched in 1982, developed as a four-wheel-drive Cross-Country vehicle combining off-road performance and durability with near passenger car comfort.
Pajero gained widespread popularity, especially among outdoor enthusiasts, and played a key role in Japan's recreational vehicle (RV) boom during the 1990s.
