Regarding the case of customers of Omoda & Jaecoo Thailand who placed orders for the JAECOO 5 during the Motor Expo or before mid-November 2025, but many customers have not yet received their vehicles as agreed. On 23 December 2025, the Omoda & Jaecoo Thailand Facebook page issued a statement apologizing for the delivery delays, affirming the company's commitment to delivering quality vehicles to all Thai customers.
Currently, over 3,000 vehicles have arrived at the port and are being gradually delivered to official dealers nationwide. However, transportation limitations recently have caused delivery delays beyond expectations.
The company does not take these delays lightly. For affected customers, the company thanks them for their understanding and offers special privileges as compensation.
Customers can contact the dealers where they placed their orders for more information. The company appreciates all the understanding, trust, and continuous support.
On 25 December 2025, the Omoda & Jaecoo Thailand Facebook page again apologized for the delivery delays and reaffirmed that product quality and customer service standards remain the company's top priorities.
The company has increased delivery capacity to about 500 cars per day to expedite the process. Customers wishing to pick up their vehicles themselves must have completed the purchase process with official dealers and can collect vehicles at the Pick Up Point at Laem Chabang Yard, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province, from 28–30 December 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Customers must notify their intent via the Call Center at 02-020-8888. The company is pleased to cover travel and hotel expenses for out-of-town customers who notify by 26 December 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
However, online inquiries have asked whether Omoda & Jaecoo Thailand conducts Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) before handing over vehicles. This step is crucial, as showrooms or service centers thoroughly check every system to ensure vehicles are in perfect condition and ready for use.
Mr. Bill Zhang, Managing Director of OMODA & JAECOO Thailand, previously stated that at the 42nd Motor Expo, OMODA & JAECOO electric vehicles had the highest nationwide bookings at 7,266 units, with the JAECOO 5 EV leading in orders.
