ZEEKR shares 7 tips for driving electric vehicles safely on long journeys, extending free charging benefits for ZEEKR vehicle users at ZEEKR Power CentralWorld until 30 April 2026.
ZEEKR Thailand revealed that they would like to suggest tips for the safest long-distance EV driving. The most important thing is that drivers should get enough rest. The tips for long-distance electric vehicle driving are as follows.
• Battery : Charge fully (80-100%) or at least to 80% to ensure optimal system performance and extend battery life.
• Tires : Check tire pressure according to service center recommendations (possibly higher pressure for continuous use and long distances) and ensure the tread is sufficiently deep with no cracks.
• Lighting system : Verify that headlights, taillights, turn signals, and brake lights are functioning properly.
• Braking system : Regularly check brake fluid level and condition as per the vehicle manual for safety.
• Cooling system: Check coolant levels for the battery and motor (if applicable) and maintain battery temperature to avoid excessive heat or cold.
• Windshield wipers and washer fluid : Fill washer fluid and ensure wipers are operational. Adjust wiper speed to match rainfall intensity to maintain clear visibility and avoid distraction.
: Prepare jumper cables (for emergencies) , towing cables, a first aid kit, flashlight, reflective signs in the vehicle, and carry your remote key to boost confidence during long trips, especially since some areas may have weak internet signals.
Additionally, as a token of appreciation to valued customers, ZEEKR extends free charging privileges for ZEEKR vehicle users at ZEEKR Power CentralWorld until 30 April 2026.
