Xpeng announces it will keep electric vehicle prices stable despite changes to the excise tax structure in 2026, and unveils the new X9 Executive Special Color Edition, highlighting the success of the electric van which led registrations in the second half of 2025.
Ms. Apiwan Singthaweesak, Chief Executive Officer of Xpeng Thailand, stated that following the government's adjustment of tax rates affecting overall automotive industry costs, Xpeng Thailand will not raise selling prices at this time, focusing instead on customer care and market stability.
The company will carefully manage costs and strategically plan to ensure customers continue to access Xpeng's products and services with confidence. They will closely monitor cost trends and government policies.
However, 2025 marked a successful year for Xpeng in Thailand, with over 4,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries since its market launch, reflecting strong market confidence in the brand.
For 2026, Xpeng is ready to elevate the AI Mobility experience with its smart electric vehicles, the G6 and X9 models. To celebrate the new year, it introduces the X9 Executive Special Color Edition to reinforce its position as the top-registered electric van in the second half of the year.
"Business operations in 2026 will follow the strategy The Next Bold Move, focusing on comprehensive growth and expanding service networks to 21 branches nationwide. We also aim to enhance our brand image from a technology brand to one that integrates innovation, design, and lifestyle, adding an Active, Young, and Dynamic dimension through lifestyle and sports activities to broaden public recognition."
The X9 Executive Special Color Edition stands out with Matte Gray paint and specially designed Starlight Floating wheels, combining cutting-edge technology. This sporty, smart electric van features interior shades called Moon Shadow Coffee and Meteorite Black, with comfortable second-row sofa-style seats.

This is considered the most maneuverable electric van to date, powered by an 800-volt battery system capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes, supporting a maximum charging speed of 317 kilowatts. The 101.5-kilowatt-hour NCM battery offers a full charge driving range of up to 690 kilometers (NEDC).
