They showcased the all-new electric crossover SUV, the ALL-NEW MAZDA CX-6e, making its first appearance in Thailand and the ASEAN region. Attendees can experience it up close at the 2026 Motor Show in Muang Thong Thani.
Theer Pheumpongphan, President and CEO of Mazda Sales Thailand, stated that the ALL-NEW MAZDA CX-6e marks its first introduction in ASEAN and Thailand. This 100% electric crossover SUV combines Mazda's unique identity with cutting-edge technology to meet customer needs. It creates a new dimension for Mazda's sustainable growth in Thailand amid a fiercely competitive market. Mazda, a longstanding trusted brand in Thailand, remains committed to the "Joy Drives Lives" philosophy, believing happiness is essential to life's momentum. Under the core value "Radically Human," Mazda delivers the "Joy of Living" by crafting travel experiences that impress customers daily.
The ALL-NEW MAZDA CX-6e is a crossover SUV that embodies driving performance under the Jinba-Ittai philosophy, creating unity between driver and car for enjoyable Mazda-style driving. This model is Mazda's second electric vehicle launched in Thailand under the Multi-solution strategy, offering diverse choices aligned with Mazda's strong commitment to carbon neutrality to preserve our planet's beauty.
The Mazda CX-6e's design reflects the “Soulful Futuristic Modern” concept, blending refined beauty with advanced technology while retaining Mazda's signature driving performance. For modern families, the Jinba-Ittai concept is elevated through finely tuned handling and ride comfort tailored to Thailand's market demands. Additionally, it features comprehensive smart technologies such as voice and gesture controls, advanced driver assistance systems, and digital side and rearview mirrors for safer and more convenient travel.
The All-New Mazda CX-6e (2026 model) advances the Kodo Design language into a fully electric era, embracing the core concept of "Soulful Futuristic Modern" that emphasizes elegance combined with cutting-edge technology.
The exterior design features refined simplicity with powerful lines and excellent aerodynamic management. The Signature Wing grille is a closed EV-style grill maintaining Mazda's distinctive pentagonal shape, highlighted by an illuminated Mazda logo and horizontal LED daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The sharply designed dual-beam LED headlights give the vehicle a sporty and aggressive look.
The crossover SUV body presents a long front and short rear overhang with a 2,902 mm wheelbase, giving the car a nimble appearance and spacious interior.
The side design includes flush door handles that blend seamlessly with the body, and an option for digital side mirrors replacing traditional ones to reduce aerodynamic drag.
At the rear, LED strip lights extend across the full width of the vehicle, paired with a new "MAZDA" script.
A special exterior color debuts with the new hero shade Nightfall Violet, a deep purple tone that reflects light with dimensionality.
The interior design follows the Japanese "Ma" philosophy (emptiness), focusing on calmness, comfort, and eliminating unnecessary elements. The smart cockpit features a 26.45-inch Ultra-Wide 5K touchscreen spanning nearly the entire dashboard, powered by the Snapdragon 8295 processor. A virtual 2D/3D HUD projects a large display onto the windshield in front of the driver. Premium materials and layered architecture decorate the cabin, with two-tone Maztex leather seat options like Amethyst purple combined with white.
The cabin offers high-quality sound from 23 speakers supporting Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting adjustable to 64 colors, and a large 1.9-square-meter panoramic sunroof creating an open atmosphere. Zero Gravity ergonomic seats reduce fatigue and feature heating and ventilation for both front and rear occupants.
Key features include a large AR head-up display, 1.9-square-meter panoramic sunroof, Zero Gravity seats with heating and ventilation, support for OTA software updates, and smartphone control capabilities.
The Mazda CX-6e is equipped with rear-wheel drive (RWD) for balanced weight distribution close to 50:50, enhancing cornering stability compared to typical front-wheel drive vehicles. It delivers approximately 258 horsepower (PS) and 320 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h occurs in about 7.6 to 7.9 seconds, with a top speed limited to 175 km/h. Unlike the rapid Tesla Model 3, Mazda tunes throttle response to be linear and smooth, avoiding jolts that could cause passenger discomfort, distinguishing it from other Chinese EVs.
The Thai market Long Range specification includes a 77.9 to 80 kWh NMC battery, providing an estimated range of 460-480 km (NEDC). Charging technology supports DC fast charging, replenishing the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the charger.
Safety features include a full suite of ADAS systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward and Rear Collision Warning (FCW/RCW), and a 360-degree surround-view camera with see-through undercarriage views.
In Thailand, the Mazda 6e sedan was unveiled with prices at the 2026 Motor Show (approximately 1.16 to 1.19 million baht). The CX-6e SUV is expected to join the lineup during 2026, positioned slightly above the 6e to compete in the premium electric SUV segment.

Inside, it differs from other Japanese brands sold in Western markets by featuring a high-resolution 5K display. The large 26.5-inch central monitor serves both as the infotainment screen and front passenger display. Additionally, a virtual display projects onto a 100-inch windshield screen. Digital side cameras replace traditional side mirrors, offering advanced yet costly technology. Dimensions are 4,850 mm long, 1,935 mm wide, 1,620 mm tall, with a 2,902 mm wheelbase. Cargo space ranges from 350 to 2,306 liters with rear seats folded, plus a 126-liter front trunk (BEV model).
Global market rollout of the Mazda CX-6e will begin in 2026, with Thailand included in the plan due to tax incentives on electric vehicles produced in China.
