OMODA & JAECOO Surpass One Million Global Sales

OMODA & JAECOO have surpassed one million units sold worldwide, launching and scaling up production of the OMODA 4 while reinforcing the success of the OMODA 7 and JAECOO 7 at Auto China 2026.

Marking their third anniversary, OMODA & JAECOO announced cumulative global sales exceeding one million units, making them one of the fastest new automotive brands to reach this milestone. Building on this success, the brands are accelerating their “From Million to Annual Million” business plan, aiming for annual sales of one million units by 2027. Their strategy includes launching new products, developing electric vehicle technology, and integrating intelligent technologies.

At Auto China 2026 in Beijing, OMODA & JAECOO unveiled a new phase of global market expansion with a standout product lineup led by the OMODA 4, OMODA 7, and JAECOO 7. This clearly reflects the brands’ dual strategy focusing on fashion-forward crossovers and premium off-road vehicles designed to meet the needs of modern consumers worldwide.


OMODA 4: Cyber-mecha design combined with next-generation intelligent driving.

Debuting at the event and moving into production, the OMODA 4 targets the “Cyber LOHAS” segment with its distinctive Cyber-mecha style and an intelligent cabin designed specifically for younger generations. Its AI Cabin integrates interactive entertainment, emotionally responsive voice communication, and smart navigation systems to provide a convenient driving experience for everyday life.

On 26 April 2026, OMODA & JAECOO held a ceremony to deliver the first OMODA 4 vehicles from the production line. For Thai customers awaiting the OMODA 4 launch, OMODA & JAECOO Thailand plans to introduce this electric flagship SUV to the Thai market within the year. Thai consumers will experience a cutting-edge SUV that blends intelligent technology with futuristic design, offering a driving experience tailored to the modern urban lifestyle. Additionally, the “From Million to Annual Million” business plan was officially launched alongside the Chery International Business Summit, presenting the brands’ global growth vision and upcoming product launch plans. Meanwhile, OMODA & JAECOO continue rapid development of intelligent technologies. In the second half of 2026, new vehicles featuring VPD (Valet Parking Driver) technology—a smart parking assist system capable of remote vehicle retrieval and automated parking—will debut. At the same time, the OMODA 4 ULTRA high-performance version will be introduced for customers seeking a more powerful and thrilling driving experience.

Since their global launch in 2023, OMODA & JAECOO have expanded operations into 69 key markets worldwide, establishing over 1,364 dealerships. Europe has become a major growth driver, accounting for more than 40% of global sales, while other markets continue to grow steadily. This global expansion, combined with a diverse product lineup and advanced hybrid technology, forms a solid foundation that gives the brands confidence in achieving annual sales of one million units by 2027.

In the United Kingdom, OMODA & JAECOO ranked sixth among brands with a 4.7% market share, selling 17,951 units in a single month, confirming strong customer confidence. The JAECOO 7 SHS-P has become a global benchmark for plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs), and the JAECOO 5 EV reached sales of 20,000 units per month within just nine months of launch, ranking first in electric vehicle sales in several markets, including Indonesia and Thailand. In Thailand, JAECOO 5 EV registrations have led the market for five consecutive months (November 2025 to March 2026, by model). The OMODA 5 SHS-H has sold over 400,000 units globally, with the hybrid (HEV) model ranking third in several key markets.

In Thailand, THE NEW OMODA C5 EV was officially launched at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, reinforcing its image as more than just a vehicle but a part of personal identity through distinctive design and advanced technology. Designed for the lifestyle of the younger generation under the ROBO SHARK Design concept, it features full-length LED headlights and taillights. Inside, it offers a 15.6-inch 2K resolution central display, Sony audio system, PM 0.3 air filter, and intelligent seats. It enhances driving confidence with 19 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) functions, a 540° surround camera system, and supports a maximum range of 422 kilometers per charge.
