LEPAS, a Chery Group Brand, Showcases EV-PHEV Lineup at Auto China 2026 Ahead of Full-Scale Thai Market Entry

LEPAS, a brand under the Chery Group, introduced its New Era, New Heights experience by showcasing its EV-PHEV lineup at Auto China 2026, ahead of a full-scale entry into the Thai market.

Reporters noted that LEPAS, a premium automotive brand under Chery Group, revealed its major highlight at Auto China 2026 with the global launch of the LEPAS L6 EV. This underscored Thailand's strategic importance as a global market, as the country previously hosted the world premiere of this model before its official global debut in Beijing.

The LEPAS L6 EV demonstrates LEPAS's excellence in electric vehicle engineering, offering fully electric performance that feels both smooth and powerful. It caters to the digital era lifestyle with advanced safety features and superior intelligent connectivity technology.

At the event, the flagship LEPAS L8 PHEV, previously first launched globally in Thailand, was also presented, along with the LEPAS L4 EV, which completes the electric vehicle lineup. The simultaneous appearance of these three models on the global stage reflects LEPAS's readiness and commitment to aggressively enter the premium electric and hybrid vehicle markets worldwide.

LEPAS revealed long-term plans to develop new model lineups blending masterpiece-level design with intelligent platforms to meet the unique needs of drivers in markets worldwide. It reaffirmed its vision as a sustainable global premium NEV brand by integrating technology and creating a comprehensive automotive ecosystem within the financially stable Chery Group, which has business networks covering over 130 countries.

However, LEPAS Thailand is not merely testing the market; it has serious, long-term investment plans. One strategic goal is to establish 50 standard service centers across Thailand by 2026 to support customer growth and provide tangible after-sales care assurance for Thai consumers.

Additionally, the L8 PHEV was introduced, offering a balanced powertrain with a Super Hybrid System seamlessly working with a DHT transmission for smooth acceleration across all speeds. Meanwhile, the L6 EV and L4 EV deliver instant torque acceleration characteristic of pure electric powertrains. The suspension and chassis of all three models are finely tuned to minimize body roll.

At the same time, they provide smooth road surface absorption, with steering weighted for precise, confident cornering. Inside the cabin, noise control is excellent, and the braking system offers natural, consistent feedback.

Furthermore, the ADAS, or advanced driver-assistance system, operates timely without interfering with driving, clearly showing that LEPAS prioritizes not only exterior design but also dedicates serious engineering efforts to deliver a driving experience that balances power, smoothness, and safety on every journey.

For Thailand, LEPAS aims to be the first choice for consumers seeking premium electric and hybrid vehicles that combine technology with distinctive elegance. With plans to expand a network of 50 standard service centers nationwide and a comprehensive lineup spanning EV and PHEV models across various price ranges, LEPAS Thailand is well-prepared to compete in Thailand's rapidly growing premium automotive market and globally.

The brand targets annual sales of 500,000 units within three years of launch and plans to expand sales to 89 countries by 2027, reflecting its commitment and readiness not just to test the market but to write a new chapter in premium electric vehicle manufacturing.
