Recently, it announced the success of the Chery V23, a milk-carton-shaped electric car designed for all lifestyles, which achieved over 1,100 registrations in May. This success made the Chery V23 the top-selling boxy-style vehicle and placed it in the Top 5 among all 100% battery electric vehicles (BEVs) registered in Thailand in May, reflecting strong consumer trust in its performance, design, and safety technology.
The Chery V23 is a distinctive product that has brought new energy and color to the electric vehicle market. In May, it registered over 1,100 units, rising to number one in the boxy-style segment. This reflects the growing popularity of the retro-futuristic trend in Thailand.
Sharp pricing creates a niche in the segment. Chery Thailand has positioned the V23’s price boldly, starting from about 689,000 to 879,000 baht, available in both rear-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD Peak) models. This price range bridges the gap between budget small EVs and typical compact SUVs, making it easy for buyers wanting a stylish, distinctive vehicle with some off-road capability to decide to buy.
