LEAPMOTOR Launches B03X Starting at 499,000 Baht, Establishes Thailand as Hub for Right-Hand Drive Markets

LEAPMOTOR is advancing into Thailand's electric vehicle market by launching the B03X electric SUV with an Early Bird price starting at 499,000 baht for the first 3,000 customers. The company plans to expand its sales and service network to 100 locations by 2028, positioning Thailand as its business expansion center for ASEAN and right-hand drive markets globally.

LEAPMOTOR Thailand officially launched the new B03X electric SUV under the concept "Young Style, More Smile," highlighting its design, spaciousness, and technology. The company also announced plans to introduce new models, expand sales networks, and enhance after-sales services in Thailand.

The LEAPMOTOR B03X is available in two variants: the Life model priced officially at 549,000 baht and the Design model at 609,000 baht, with Early Bird prices offered for the first 3,000 customers who pre-order as follows.

  • The Life model is offered at a special price of 499,000 baht, reduced from the regular price of 549,000 baht.

  • The Design model is available at a special price of 569,000 baht, down from the regular price of 609,000 baht.

Mr. Li Tengfei, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LEAPMOTOR, said the company focuses on developing core technologies and manufacturing key components in-house to control quality and manage costs. Savings from these efficiencies are reinvested to enhance safety equipment and systems for users.

Currently, the company operates 18 parts manufacturing plants, producing about 65% of the vehicle's cost components internally. The vehicle platform is 90% shared, accelerating product development and the integration of new technologies.

Positioning Thailand as the business expansion hub with a target of 100 sales and service centers.

Regarding its business direction in Thailand, LEAPMOTOR stated that Thailand is a key market in its global strategy. On 30 September 2026, the company established Leapmotor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to directly manage branding, products, sales channels, and services.

Additionally, the company plans to develop Thailand into a center for business expansion into Southeast Asia and global right-hand drive markets, leveraging partnerships with local allies alongside international growth with Stellantis.

Over the next three years, the company will focus on four areas: products, networks, services, and local business development. In 2026, it will introduce the B03X and an updated C10 model to the market and continue rolling out new models progressively.

For the sales and service network, the company aims to expand to 30 locations by 2026, 65 by 2027, and 100 by 2028, up from the current 19 officially appointed centers nationwide.

Simultaneously, LEAPMOTOR will establish a parts warehouse and technical service center in Thailand, ensure existing customers receive equal benefits as new ones, and target that Thai personnel comprise over 90% of jobs within its Thai subsidiaries.

B03X offers a maximum range of 450 km and charges from 30% to 80% in as fast as 16 minutes.

The LEAPMOTOR B03X is designed for both daily commuting and travel, offering five exterior color options and notable interior space. The company states that the cabin has a high utilization rate of 88.1%, with a 106-liter washable underfloor storage compartment.

Inside, it features a 14.6-inch floating central screen with 2.5K resolution supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an integrated intelligent driving assistance system.

For the long-range variant, the company claims a maximum driving distance of 450 kilometers per charge under the NEDC standard. It supports DC fast charging at up to 133 kilowatts and can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in as little as 16 minutes under specified conditions.

Safety-wise, the B03X uses CTC 2.0 Plus technology that integrates the battery into the chassis structure, includes a protective battery frame, and features a high-strength safety cage body structure. Equipment varies by model as announced, with actual range and charging performance depending on usage conditions.

Highlights include an 8-year vehicle warranty and special benefits during the launch period.

The company offers an 8-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty, and a lifetime warranty on the battery system, electric motor, and intelligent control system under specified terms.

Additionally, first-year coverage includes first-class car insurance and compulsory motor insurance, a nationwide hotline, and 24-hour roadside assistance services.

Customers meeting conditions from launch until 30 November 2026 will receive a window tint film, custom floor mats, and free vehicle registration services. The scope, duration, and terms of these benefits are as defined by LEAPMOTOR Thailand.

Mr. Liu Ning, General Manager of Leapmotor Thailand, said that purchasing a car is just the beginning, and the company prioritizes ongoing care throughout ownership. It plans to continuously develop its network and services in Thailand to support customers long-term.

At the event, Aom Kornnapas was introduced as the B03X Ambassador and received the first B03X vehicle in Thailand to help promote the brand image and share user experiences with Thai customers.
