Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd. invites Isuzu vehicle owners and interested individuals to join the “ISUZU THE ONE & ONLY GYMKHANA CHALLENGE: Fun & Power Powered by 2.2 DDI MAXFORCE.” This gymkhana driving competition lets customers fully experience Isuzu vehicles’ power, agility, and precise control, with prizes totaling over 500,000 baht. Isuzu will hold five nationwide events, kicking off the first competition on 24–25 January at IMPACT Lakeside by the Muang Thong Thani lake.

It showcases the power of the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering strength while maintaining fuel efficiency characteristic of Isuzu. Participants can test the precise Electric Power Steering (EPS), the 360° Surround View Camera with a new undercarriage view for accurate driving, and the new STIFF FLEX shock absorbers that reduce vibration and body roll for smooth, confident cornering. The event takes place on a fun yet challenging simulated course under safety standards with expert guidance. Competitors will use the ISUZU D-MAX “THE ONE & ONLY” and MU-X “THE NEXT PEAK” models. We hope this event provides fun, impressive, and valuable experiences for all participants.”
Competition details are divided into two categories:
OPEN COMPETITION category is a timed individual race. Competitors drive in gymkhana test stations two at a time. The four fastest drivers who control their vehicles precisely without violations will qualify for the final round to compete for prizes totaling 50,000 baht.
The vehicles used in this category are the new ISUZU D-MAX HI-LANDER “THE ONE & ONLY” with the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine. Participants will experience the Electric Power Steering (EPS), the Sequential Paddle Shift on the steering wheel allowing easy gear changes with fingertips, and the 360° Surround View Camera with a new undercarriage perspective for enhanced driving accuracy.
TRUSTED BUDDY COMPETITION is a team event with two members per team. Teams drive through test stations demonstrating teamwork. Beyond excellent driving skills and timed runs, the buddy (co-driver) performs special tasks to reduce competition time and gain advantages. Success requires both skill and teamwork. The four teams with the best times will win prizes totaling 45,000 baht.
Vehicles in this category are the MU-X “THE NEXT PEAK,” a top multipurpose vehicle powered by the 2.2 Ddi MAXFORCE engine. It features enhanced safety with new STIFF FLEX shock absorbers designed to reduce vibration and body roll, plus advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a 3D Imaging Stereo Front Camera.

7 February 2026 at Lan Muang Jai, Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport, Chiang Mai Province
Northeastern Region
14 February 2026 at Lan Oofoo, Khon Kaen Province
Eastern Region
7 March 2026 at Chatuchak Market, Chonburi Province
Southern Region
21 March 2026 at Central Phuket, Phuket Province
The event also features multiple vehicle test stations and special games where all customers can win many prizes. Participants in both competition categories will receive a PT fuel card worth 500 baht, an event polo shirt, and other prizes based on results. Specially, at each regional round, lucky customers will ride alongside professional drivers, experiencing power, speed, and advanced driving techniques not available elsewhere.
