ARV Launches Deepzoom: Intelligent Image and Video Analysis Platform

ARV, a Thai expert in advanced robotics and artificial intelligence development, has launched Deepzoom, an intelligent image and video analysis platform designed to raise safety standards.

Mr. Thasaphich Thawornsuk, Head of Business Group at AI and Robotics Ventures Co., Ltd., said the concept behind developing the platform is that every video frame contains hidden information, but conventional systems cannot interpret events at a human level. Deepzoom was developed to make this visual data meaningful and help organizations anticipate events in advance or respond promptly to risks.

Based on this concept, Deepzoom was designed to differ from typical image analysis systems by linking events from multiple cameras into a continuous timeline using MTMC (Multi-Target Multi-Camera Tracking) technology. This allows users to quickly search and verify where a person or object of interest is, the points they passed through, and their activities during the recorded period. This capability reduces data search time from hours to minutes, lessens the workload of reviewing footage for staff, and enhances surveillance processes with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Additionally, Deepzoom supports site-specific customization, leveraging ARV's AI and robotics development team's experience working in complex and challenging environments, from offshore drilling platforms and underwater low-light conditions to drone image analysis for detecting small objects from high altitudes.

It also includes ground robot vision systems operating in hazardous areas. This expertise enables Deepzoom to operate reliably in real-world scenarios and integrate with other ARV technologies, such as aerial drone inspection systems, enhancing emergency area access and enabling faster, more accurate incident response planning.

A key strength is that Deepzoom's AI models are developed based on data and context specific to Thailand, allowing them to understand real environments, user behaviors, and area characteristics more accurately than off-the-shelf systems designed for foreign markets. With these capabilities, Deepzoom has been applied across various industries with measurable results, including:

Security & Surveillance: Enhancing systematic area monitoring, from counting people entering and exiting, identity verification using facial recognition, detecting intrusions into restricted areas, to analyzing suspicious behaviors.

For example, in cases of repeated pacing, when abnormalities are detected, the system can use MTMC tracking to immediately follow the person's movement path and behavior across cameras. All data is collected, analyzed, and presented systematically, enabling security teams to plan proactively without increasing their workload.

Safety / HSE: Early detection of risks in work areas, such as falls, smoke or sparks, and incomplete use of personal protective equipment. The system analyzes recurring incidents and prioritizes risks by location and time, allowing relevant agencies to address issues precisely, reducing accident chances and lessening the monitoring burden on staff.

Traffic Management: Detecting anomalies like wrong-way driving, vehicles on sidewalks, or speeding, while displaying routes and license plate information retrospectively. This helps officials review incidents within minutes and provides sufficient data for proactive traffic management, such as reducing bottlenecks or adjusting traffic plans according to real road user behavior.

Organizational Model Customization: Beyond standard models, Deepzoom can develop and tailor models to specific organizational needs, maximizing the value of image data. For example, a quality control system (QC Vision) can detect product defects in real-time on production lines, addressing issues early, reducing waste and re-inspection, and improving overall production efficiency.

"The role of AI today is not to replace human decision-making but to help humans see and understand events more deeply. Deepzoom is designed to systematically interpret, alert, and analyze visual data so organizations can quickly respond to risks and make confident decisions based on real data," he said.

Ford Factory Reaffirms Commitment to Comprehensive Employee Care Ford Motor Company (Thailand) Limited, or FTM factory, has reaffirmed its commitment to comprehensive personnel care by being selected as one of 13 national model factories awarded the Total Worker Health recognition for holistic worker health care in 2025. Mr. Nopwat Nitidamrongrat, Safety and Occupational Health Manager, accepted the award plaque from Captain Saroj Komkai, Director-General of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare.

Major Award Received Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited (MGC-ASIA) has been officially certified as a member of the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC), reflecting its commitment to conducting business with strong governance principles while promoting responsibility across communities, society, and the nation to build confidence among shareholders, customers, partners, and all stakeholders.

This certification underscores MGC-ASIA's commitment to sustainable business development and establishes a new standard for conducting business based on good governance and collective efforts to prevent and combat all forms of corruption, fostering transparency and organizational stability for sustainable operations.
