The most expensive car in Kim Pornprapa's collection, the suspect in the "MORE stock manipulation" case, is the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, a one-off vehicle worldwide. It is valued at about 18 million euros (approximately 2 billion baht when imported into Thailand). In addition, the collection includes the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 'Le Passage du Temps' and several other rare hypercars with a combined worth of several billion baht.
Kim Pornprapa's most expensive hypercar models include:
Bugatti La Voiture Noire: An extremely rare, one-of-a-kind car produced only once in the world.
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire features a carbon fiber body in a glossy black carbon tone, a 3D-printed front grille, headlights on each side composed of over 25 parts, wheels designed identically to the prototype, a rear end with a hidden active spoiler, seamless long taillights, six exhaust tips, and a large lower diffuser. It is based on the Chiron model but includes many new developments, such as a 250 mm longer wheelbase and a new aerodynamic system. The interior cabin is upholstered in Havana Brown grained leather with special machined polished aluminum trim throughout the center console. It is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine producing 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Newton-meters of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and full-time all-wheel drive. Performance includes 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 6.1 seconds, 0-300 km/h in 13.1 seconds, 0-400 km/h in 32.6 seconds, and a top speed of 420 km/h.
Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 'Le Passage du Temps': One of the most expensive cars in the collection, highly valuable, and the only one owned by a Thai individual.
Lamborghini Sián Roadster: Only 19 units exist worldwide.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster: The only one in Thailand, from a limited production of 63 units worldwide, priced at 70 million baht.
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Special Edition: The first in the world custom-ordered by the owner.
Kim Pornprapa is known as a collector of rare hypercars and often showcases these special models in Thailand. Recently, police uncovered collusive activities to manipulate the price and trading volume of MORE securities continuously. The operation involved dividing roles to place trading orders that distorted the normal market conditions of MORE securities, causing the public to be misled about the price or volume of MORE securities. This constitutes securities price manipulation offenses under the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992), Sections 244/3 (1) and (2), combined with Sections 244/5 and 244/6, with estimated damages of approximately 800 million baht.
The court, after considering the severity of the charges and case circumstances against the three defendants, ruled that there is sufficient factual basis to decide the bail petition without the need for further hearings. Regarding the defendants' (Kim, her mother, and brother) request for bail, the court found that the alleged offenses affect investor confidence in the stock market, and the case involves substantial financial damage.
In this case, the court considers the matter serious. Additionally, the three defendants failed to appear before the public prosecutor as scheduled, prompting an arrest warrant request. The court has issued arrest warrants for the defendants. Given the case circumstances, there is reasonable belief that if bail is granted, the defendants might flee. Therefore, bail is denied at this stage.
