Nissan Thailand has launched the new Almera 2026 model, featuring reduced emissions that meet the Euro 6 standard. This upgrade elevates the compact sedan with a newly tuned engine and full safety technologies, reflecting Nissan's commitment to operate within legal and environmental regulations while continuing to offer affordable pricing.
Takaaki Yanagi, Senior Vice President of Nissan Thailand, said, “The Nissan Almera is one of our best-selling vehicles, trusted by Thai customers for its responsive engine, spacious interior, practical features, and safety technology that meets everyday driving needs. The 2026 model builds on these strengths with comprehensive development, demonstrating Nissan’s ongoing efforts to enhance its core models in the Thai market and consistently invigorate the automotive sector.”
The 2026 Nissan Almera’s engine has been upgraded to comply with the stricter Euro 6 emissions standards, emphasizing Nissan's environmental responsibility and its role in reducing automotive impact for a sustainable future.
The 2026 Nissan Almera sports a modern, sleek look with a new black front grille and black lower bumpers on both front and rear. The VL trim features a two-tone color scheme with black door handles and roof, adding a sporty edge to the V and VL models with black headlight trim pieces.
Inside the cabin, the E and EL trims have black fabric seats accented with dark blue fabric, while the V and VL trims feature black leather seats with orange stitching on the front console, door panels, and front armrest.
New safety technologies
The 2026 Nissan Almera introduces additional safety features including:
Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW)
Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) is now standard even on the base model. The IFCW system flashes a warning light when it detects the car ahead braking suddenly, while IEB automatically applies the brakes to reduce the risk or prevent a rear-end collision if the driver does not react promptly.
These safety technologies complement existing systems such as:
Six airbags
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Automatic High Beam Assist (HBA)
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
Nissan 360˚ Safety Shield cameras
The 2026 Nissan Almera is offered in four accessible trims: the E CVT priced at 573,000 baht; the EL CVT at 589,000 baht; the V CVT at 669,000 baht; and the VL CVT at 699,000 baht, with prices for all but the base model remaining unchanged.
Special offers include a down payment starting at 5,555 baht, 84-month installment plans, or a choice of special interest rates plus one year of Nissan Premium Protection first-class insurance.
The Nissan Almera is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged HRA0 engine delivering 100 horsepower and 152 Newton-meters of torque, providing strong acceleration with flat torque delivery. It features a spacious, comfortable cabin and comprehensive safety technology. It is the first in its segment equipped with an SOS emergency assistance function.
