Most recently, on 9 Feb 2026, Thairath Online received confirmation from a senior source at the Department of Land Transport that the online renewal launch must be postponed because the Ministry of Public Health is not yet ready to link medical certificate data, which is crucial for license renewal. However, progress is expected around mid-2026, between June and July.
