At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, MG presented two major highlights: the latest flagship SUV IM LS8 from IM Motors, packed with futuristic technology and notable as an all-in-one flagship SUV, and the upgraded MG4 URBAN offering enhanced value. The IM LS8 redefines the "all-in-one flagship SUV" concept by delivering a premium experience with fully capable intelligent systems. Developed with comprehensive standard equipment, advanced technology, premium quality, and manufacturing standards from leading producers, it meets the needs of modern families seeking full value in a single vehicle. Technologically, the IM LS8 offers precise vehicle control with a high-level safety structure.
The intelligent driving assistance system, IM AD, developed by NVIDIA, offers high performance working in tandem with high-resolution LiDAR that can detect objects up to 300 meters away. It incorporates a platform from Momenta enabling operation on all road types and is ready for future upgrades to advanced systems.

The IM LS8 raises the bar for large SUVs with advanced driving performance features such as a Digital Chassis that ensures stable handling, and an intelligent four-wheel steering system allowing a maximum turning angle of ±24 degrees. This enables the over-5-meter SUV to have a turning radius of just 4.85 meters, offering maneuverability comparable to a compact Eco car and suitability for use in confined spaces.

The IM LS8 features a new Extended Range drivetrain delivering V8 engine power with the quietness typical of a full electric vehicle. It can travel over 1,000 kilometers on a single fuel fill and supports an 800V fast charging system that enhances everyday convenience.

Another highlight, the MG4 URBAN, brings premium smart innovations to an accessible vehicle segment. With continuous sales growth exceeding 10,000 units monthly, ranking in the top 3 in the B segment, and over 80,000 users accumulated, it has expanded to international markets such as the UK and Australia. This time, it received comprehensive upgrades in design, technology, and convenience features, including new body colors Ice Crystal Blue and Almond Beige, complemented by a black floating roof and redesigned 17-inch alloy wheels, catering to young lifestyles. At the show, some MG vehicles were decorated with inspiration from renowned contemporary Chinese artist Jacky Tsai, based in London (UK), who is known for blending Eastern culture with Western pop art, giving the cars distinctive details.
MG prepares to strengthen the EV market with upcoming launches of MG 4X and MG 07.
In the second half of the year, MG plans to expand its portfolio further by launching the MG 4X, an electric SUV featuring advanced driving technologies, and the MG 07, a new energy sport coupe. The MG 07 will be the first model equipped with Momenta's advanced intelligent driving system, supporting urban autonomous driving (Urban NOA) and seamless usage from start to destination.
