Automobili Lamborghini, the bull brand, has unveiled the new Revuelto SV sports car, a V12-powered supercar in the Super Veloce version that continues the premium performance legacy of the giant engine born 55 years ago, starting with the legendary Miura SV. The "SV" code, meaning Super Veloce in Italian, translates to "superhuman speed." It uses a lightweight structure, shedding excess weight, and focuses on aerodynamics refined in a wind tunnel to enhance performance. The chassis has been recalibrated. The arrival of the Revuelto SV marks a new era for Lamborghini's SV lineage, produced in a limited edition of just 1,963 units worldwide to commemorate the brand's founding year, 1963. This combines a new generation V12 hybrid powertrain with the uncompromising racing DNA, making the Revuelto SV a top-tier super sports car.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said the Revuelto SV elevates the Revuelto family’s capabilities to a new level. Every detail has been developed to deliver an intense behind-the-wheel experience, with direct responsiveness that clearly reflects Lamborghini's DNA in engineering, distinctive character, and driving enjoyment that transcends all limits.
The Revuelto SV evolves from the brand’s first V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, featuring completely revised aerodynamics and powertrain systems. It pushes peak power to 1,065 horsepower (783 kW) with a matching maximum combined torque of 1,425 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, reaching a top speed exceeding 345 km/h. This makes the Revuelto SV the most powerful and fastest production car ever built at the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory. This extreme performance is Lamborghini’s definition of The Quantum of Driving—a quantum leap in performance that transforms the driving experience, not merely by adding horsepower but by shifting driving emotion to an entirely new dimension in an instant.
Beyond raw speed, the Revuelto SV has refined design and enhanced aerodynamics to increase downforce. The suspension uses passive adjustable dampers tuned to race specifications, paired with the newest CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes and Bridgestone Potenza Race R tires specially developed for the SV. The car introduces the new Pilota driving mode for the first time, allowing drivers to finely adjust responsiveness for track driving, matching the 'Feel Like a Pilot' cockpit design philosophy that fuses driver and car into one.
The main mission of the Revuelto SV is to unleash the purest racing spirit through its V12 powertrain, converting immense power into a natural connection between driver and machine. "With new aerodynamics, advanced driving controls, and motorsport technologies including suspension, brakes, and tires combined with increased engine power, the Revuelto SV offers sharper precision and sportier response than the standard Revuelto, becoming the ultimate super sports car for performance-focused drivers," Stephan Winkelmann added.
The lap time of 1:41.6 at Germany’s Hockenheimring, set by factory test driver Marco Mapelli, establishes the Revuelto SV as the fastest production car ever recorded on this world-class test track, clearly demonstrating its aerodynamic capabilities.
Sharp lines emphasize aerodynamic performance.
The Revuelto SV’s design integrates form and function with a lightweight structure efficiently managing airflow. From the Speedshape side contours to the vertical Omega front design that accentuates the car’s width, complemented by a rear diffuser trimmed with a red line and a tall rear wing crafted to provide consistent downforce, enhancing stability at high speed.
"The Revuelto SV represents the next evolution of the V12 HPEV philosophy, elevating the distinctive character and performance of the Revuelto family," said Mr. Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini. "Every element has been developed with a focus on performance, aerodynamic efficiency, lightweight construction, and motorsport spirit fused with iconic design. The front features a new Super Veloce design adorned with exposed carbon fiber to emphasize width and proportions. The new center-lock wheels have a hexagonal pattern reflecting Lamborghini’s technology and DNA."
The trim offers special color shades for exclusivity, using black tones contrasted with the fixed high rear wing, featuring new SV logos on the sides and rear. The body lines align with new racing-style center-lock alloy wheels with a hexagonal inner design. Besides the standard Shiny Silver paint, customers can customize the Lamborghini script logo on the rear in Shiny Black, Matt Black, or Matt Bronze.
Cockpit emphasizes a sporty feel following the "Feel Like a Pilot" concept.
The Revuelto SV’s cabin clearly embodies the “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy. Instrument placement centers the driver, featuring a slim dashboard and the latest generation sport steering wheel with racing-style control switches arranged for quick operation without removing hands from the wheel.
The interior structure uses lightweight materials including special carbon fiber door panels and custom-developed racing-style seats. Standard seats are Sport Seats with carbon shell combining racing ergonomics with comfort and multiple adjustment options. Optional Race Seats feature a full carbon monocoque structure, reducing weight and providing excellent lateral support at high-speed corners.
The Revuelto SV cabin uses more carbon fiber than any other model, complemented by Nero Ade black leather with up to 12 contrast color options covering seats, center console, carpets, and dashboard to create a personalized sporty character. The design is minimalist and clean, integrated with a User Interface featuring exclusive graphics and animations greeting the driver upon door opening. The steering wheel has a special red Pilota mode button on the right to adjust Traction Control, while the familiar ANIMA drive mode stalk is also finished in red.
Advanced aerodynamic system tuning.
Lamborghini engineers and designers completely reworked the Revuelto SV’s airflow to increase downforce, enhancing vehicle control precision and lap times on the track. The front splitter and underbody structures are engineered for maximum performance. Front bumper corner vents close wheel arch openings and direct airflow to side radiators, improving continuous cooling. The aerodynamic balance at the front also boosts control accuracy on track, noticeably reducing lap times. Brake cooling has improved by 12%, maintaining consistent braking performance under extreme conditions.
The tall rear wing integrates racing-derived technology. Dual winglets at the ends increase downforce and airflow, while the central low profile reduces drag. The rear features a Gurney flap to boost downforce on the rear deck and extract air from radiator vents, ensuring temperature control. New rear brake cooling ducts work with a complex underbody panel to accelerate brake disc cooling.
As a result, the Revuelto SV generates 80% more total downforce than the standard Revuelto and 10% more than the Aventador SVJ, with a 60% improvement in downforce-to-drag ratio compared to the Revuelto. This design enhances acceleration, grip, and stability at high speeds comprehensively.
V12 hybrid powertrain producing 1,065 horsepower.
The Revuelto SV’s powertrain is a true driver’s machine, pairing a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine with two axial flux electric motors on the front wheels and a radial flux electric motor integrated into the rear transverse 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
This setup enables rapid, fully electric torque vectoring, boosting grip and cornering precision. The front dual motors quickly distribute torque, making the car more agile and delivering a lighter steering feel on both road and track.
The V12 engine produces 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and revs up to 9,500 rpm. Combined with three electric motors and a newly upgraded 7.3 kWh lithium-ion battery delivering up to 190 kW, total power reaches 1,065 horsepower—an increase of 50 horsepower over the standard Revuelto. The car’s power-to-weight ratio is 1.66 kg per horsepower. The new battery system stabilizes performance four times better than the standard model, with peak combined torque of 1,425 Nm, the highest in its class.
The high-revving V12 hybrid propels the Revuelto SV from 0-100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, reaching a top speed over 345 km/h. The exhaust features sporty dual tailpipes tuned for a distinctive roar, available in Matt Grey, Matt Black, and Matt Bronze finishes.
Alessandro Farmeschi, Revuelto product line director at Automobili Lamborghini, said the Revuelto SV aims to create the most direct connection between driver and car, delivering intense racing emotions.
