On 21 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Lt. Gen. Surapol Prembutr, Commander of the Cyber Crime Division, along with Pol. Lt. Gen. Naradet Thiprak, Commander assigned to the Royal Thai Police Office assisting the Cyber Crime Division, Pol. Maj. Gen. Wiwat Khamchamnarn, Deputy Commander of the Cyber Crime Division, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Kritchat Bamrungrattanayot, Commander of Cyber Crime Division 4, ordered Pol. Col. Phutthiphat Phanomchaijirakul, Commander of Division 4, Cyber Crime Division 4, Pol. Lt. Col. Chaiphat Chuesai, Deputy Commander of Division 4, and Pol. Capt. Ploenpasit Prompao, Investigator of Division 4, to lead a raid under Chiang Rai Provincial Court warrant No. K.67/2569 at a house in Moo 4, Ban Santhat, Yonok Subdistrict, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province. They arrested Mr. Thathana Srichomchuen, 27, and his wife Ms. Natnicha Namwiset, 27, both from Chiang Rai, and seized evidence including 2 desktop computers, 3 laptops, and 2 mobile phones.

Investigations by the Cyber Crime Division 4 revealed the website SUPERWIN.VIN had over 12,000 members and had been operating for more than 5 months, generating an average turnover exceeding 30 million baht per month, or over 360 million baht annually. The site illicitly offered various online gambling services such as lottery, slots, international football betting, baccarat, dragon tiger, hi-lo, pok deng, and many other types of gambling.

The site accepted payments through automated bank account transfers to play online gambling, allowed direct withdrawal requests via the website, and employed site admins who assisted or acted on behalf of the site—for example, handling issues related to registration, financial transactions, and providing advice to encourage participation in online gambling on the site.

Further investigation identified the gambling site's base of operations in Chiang Rai Province. Authorities then gathered evidence and obtained a court warrant to search the residence and arrest the two suspects along with the seized items.

During interrogation, Mr. Thathana admitted he was hired as a marketing admin, responsible for advertising campaigns to promote the gambling site and recruit customers, receiving a monthly commission of 35% of the site's revenue, with his highest monthly earnings exceeding 100,000 baht. His wife worked as an admin responding to customer inquiries and managing the site's income and expenses, earning 20,000 baht per month.

Both suspects are being prosecuted for "jointly engaging in schemes to lure, advertise, or solicit others to participate in online gambling without authorization from officials." They are being held for further legal proceedings.
