"Criminal Records Division" launches the system "Online Criminal Record Check" via the official website starting 15 July 2026 onwards
On 11 July 2026, the Facebook pageCentral Investigation Policeposted the message "The Criminal Records Division launches the 'Online Criminal Record Check' system via the web starting 15 July. Convenient, easy, receive results immediately by email." stating that
the Criminal Records Division is fully advancing public services into the digital era by announcing the launch of the "Online Criminal Record Check" system using full name and ID number to facilitate the public and those needing the record for job applications or transactions. The system will officially launch on 15 July 2026.
Citizens can access this system through the official website of the Criminal Records Division at www.crd.go.th/bg/landing, designed to be simple, fast, and secure, with four steps as follows:
1. Fill out the request: Visit the website and enter information to request a criminal record check.
2. Identity verification: Choose to verify identity via the ThaiD app or use the Laser Code on the back of the ID card with additional confirmation data.
3. Online payment: Supports various convenient payment methods such as Mobile Banking/Internet Banking, QR Code scanning, Bill Payment/bank counters, and ATMs.
4. Receive results: The system will send the criminal record check results via email, including a secure and trustworthy Digital Signature.
Those verifying identity through the ThaiD app will gain maximum benefits, able to check and receive results by email anytime, anywhere, every day. Citizens who prefer not to receive electronic results or need official signed documents can still collect results in person at service points nationwide, including:
1. Criminal Records Division
2. Forensic Centers 1 – 10
3. Provincial forensic offices throughout the country
