At 11:00 on 27 July 2026, police officers from Nong Suea Police Station, along with volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, were notified of an accident where a large steel plate fell on a worker, causing death at a water gate construction project of the Royal Irrigation Department in Village 7, Sala Khu Subdistrict, Nong Suea District, Pathum Thani Province. They promptly went to investigate.
At the scene, they found the body of Mr. Pakpoom Sirisuk, 27, the driver of an 18-wheel trailer truck, lying dead near the trailer and the large steel plate. Authorities secured the area for inspection and documentation before assigning the Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers to transport the body for a detailed autopsy at the Somdet Phra Theprat Ratchasuda Medical Center (Srinakharinwirot University, Klong 16) in accordance with legal procedures.
Ms. Porntip Sirisuk, 25, the deceased's wife, sorrowfully revealed that at the time of the accident, her husband was walking to change the battery on the trailer, which had arrived to transport the steel plates.
