Hun Sen Posts Accusations Against Thailand, Alleges Indiscriminate Attacks and Use of Toxic Smoke

Hun Sen continues to post accusations against Thailand, claiming attacks on Cambodia without regard for location, and further alleging the use of cluster bombs and toxic smoke. The posted content is as follows:

Dear fellow citizens,

In recent days, the Thai military has invaded, attacked, and killed Cambodian people indiscriminately, targeting various locations including bridges, roads, temples, monasteries, and schools.

Artillery and fighter jets have been used, along with cluster bombs and toxic smoke deployed in multiple areas, affecting not only Cambodian territories but also where Thai citizens live and work in Cambodia.

Given this situation, on behalf of the President of the Senate, the King's Personal Advisor, and the ruling party's leader, I recommend that the Prime Minister and government consider suspending all cross-border travel for Cambodians and Thais.

Cambodians currently living in Thailand should continue their lives and work there, and Thai citizens residing and working in Cambodia should remain there until a complete ceasefire is established.

This measure aims to ensure the safety of Cambodians and Thais from travel accidents, particularly those involving border crossings.

I ask Cambodians living in Thailand and Thai citizens to understand this.

I also urge the Cambodian government to protect the safety of Thai residents living in Cambodia, preventing them from harm caused by Thai bullets, bombs, or toxic smoke.
