US Releases New Documents Indicating Trump Flew on Epstein’s Private Jet Eight Times

US authorities have released tens of thousands of new documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's case, including emails indicating that Donald Trump flew on the former financier’s private jet eight times.

On Tuesday, 23 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the US Department of Justice published thousands of additional documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse case, amid increasing criticism over delays and heavy redactions in the disclosures.

The latest batch of documents released online includes at least 11,000 files, comprising hundreds of videos and audio recordings, notably surveillance footage from August 2019—the month Epstein was found dead in jail while awaiting trial on human trafficking charges for sex.

Among the released files are emails from 2001 sent by an individual identified only as "A" from “Balmoral” to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s close associate, sent from an email account named "The Invisible Man," asking Maxwell, "Can you find me some inappropriate new friends?"

"The Invisible Man" is a pseudonym previously linked to two email addresses, one of which appears in Epstein’s contact book under the name "Duke of York."

Additionally, another email exchange mentions "girls" on a trip to Peru. The BBC has reached out to the team of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (former Prince Andrew) for comment but has not yet received a response.

The latest documents also include a fabricated video purportedly showing Jeffrey Epstein inside a New York jail on the day he died, along with emails stating that Donald Trump was a passenger on Epstein’s private jet on eight occasions between 1993 and 1996.

The Epstein File Transparency Act (EFTA), unanimously approved by Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump, mandated the full disclosure of Epstein files by the Friday prior to this week.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche cited the need to redact the identities of more than 1,000 victims from hundreds of thousands of documents and images held by the government as the reason for the delay, affirming that the government did not withhold information to protect Donald Trump, who was once friends with Epstein.

Meanwhile, Ro Khanna of the Democratic Party and Thomas Massie of the Republican Party, co-sponsors of the EFTA, threatened over the weekend to charge Attorney General Pam Bondi with contempt of Congress for failing to comply with the law.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of the Democratic Party introduced a resolution on Monday to pursue legal action against the Trump administration for failing to release the complete Epstein files.

"Instead of transparency, the Trump administration released only a fraction of the files and obscured most information in the small number of documents they provided," Schumer said in a statement.

Extensive redactions in many documents, combined with strict control over information release by Trump administration officials, have fueled skepticism about whether these disclosures can truly dispel conspiracy theories about high-level cover-ups.

The documents released on Friday include photographs of former Democratic President Bill Clinton and other prominent figures such as pop stars Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson, all of whom were part of Epstein’s social circle.

Clinton issued a statement through spokesperson Angel Urena, calling on the Department of Justice to disclose any documents related to the former president and stating that he has nothing to hide.
