Chaos spreads across Africa as 'Ebo Noah,' a self-proclaimed prophet, postpones his doomsday prediction from 25 Dec 2025 after thousands of followers packed their belongings and flocked to Ghana to await boarding Noah's Ark to survive a great flood.
On 26 Dec 2025, Prophet Ebo Noah, also known as Ebo Jesus, announced a postponement of his predicted doomsday originally set for 25 Dec 2025. He claimed that God answered his prayers and granted additional time to help save more people.
This announcement came after people from many African countries poured into Ghana, hoping to board the "Noah's Ark" to survive the apocalypse as foretold by Ebo Noah. Online videos showed large families—including children and the elderly—carrying belongings and gathering near the ark's construction site, hopeful to find refuge.
Ebo Noah stated that the existing ark could not accommodate the massive number of people, so he prayed for more time from God to build additional boats. Currently, he is constructing about 10 wooden ships in Ghana, each claimed to hold up to 5,000 passengers.
Reports indicate he has invested around £250,000 (approximately 11 million baht) into this project, which has sparked both support and strong criticism. Critics point out that the boats lack engines, navigation systems, and structural integrity, questioning whether the substantial funds should instead be directed to humanitarian aid.
Additionally, observers note that the Bible, in Genesis 9:11, promises that there will be no future worldwide floods, casting widespread doubt on Ebo Noah's prophecy. Nevertheless, Ebo Noah insists he received direct visions from God and continues his mission to help humanity.
