Bun Rani, Wife of Hun Sen, Visits Injured Cambodian Soldiers, Donates Funds and Medical Equipment to Strengthen Frontline Hospital

Bun Rani, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, visited injured soldiers from border clashes at Kampong Thom provincial hospital, delivering 40 million riel along with advanced medical equipment, reaffirming ongoing care for soldiers, their families, and vulnerable citizens.

On 27 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Cambodian news agency AKP reported that Bun Rani Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, visited injured Cambodian soldiers receiving treatment at Kampong Thom provincial hospital to offer encouragement and humanitarian aid.

The report stated that these soldiers were wounded during clashes along the border while performing duties to protect the country's sovereignty. The Red Cross President spoke with them to provide encouragement and emphasized continued support.

Additionally, the Cambodian Red Cross donated 40 million riel, about 350,000 baht, to support the hospital's food program, along with cash and essential items to individual patients. At the hospital administrators' request, the Red Cross also provided a C-Arm X-ray machine and a mobile X-ray device to enhance diagnostic and medical capabilities. Furthermore, 400 cases of drinking water and beverages were given to the provincial administration for distribution in humanitarian activities.
