Forbes announced that Beyoncé, the globally famous singer, has become a billionaire for the first time, following several years of successful concerts and albums.
On 29 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Forbes magazine, a leading U.S. publication renowned for business, finance, and lifestyle news, officially declared Beyoncé a billionaire, making her the fifth music artist to join the ranks of the world's wealthiest individuals.
Forbes reported that the American superstar has joined an elite group of artists with a net worth reaching nine figures or billions of dollars, including Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and her husband Jay-Z, whom the business magazine estimates to have a net worth of $2.5 billion.
Earlier this month, Forbes had estimated Beyoncé’s net worth at $800 million and predicted she would surpass the billionaire threshold for the first time after years of continued success.
Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour grossed nearly $600 million, establishing her as one of the greatest icons in pop music alongside Taylor Swift.
Beyoncé executive produced a concert film documenting this tour—her first solo tour in seven years—distributed directly through a deal with the AMC theater chain, earning her nearly half of the film’s $44 million global box office revenue.
Meanwhile, her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, which celebrates and highlights Black roots in country music, received critical acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, marking Beyoncé’s first win after four previous nominations.
Forbes estimates that the Cowboy Carter tour, featuring guest appearances by Jay-Z, two of their three children, and members of Destiny's Child, generated over $400 million from ticket sales plus an additional $50 million from merchandise sales at concerts.
Although the tour broke ticket sales records at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Paris’s Stade de France, it faced slow ticket sales initially, prompting organizers to reduce some ticket prices to fill seats.
Nevertheless, this tour had the highest premium ticket prices among artists visiting the United Kingdom in 2025, with prices reaching up to £950 (about 40,500 baht), while the lowest ticket cost £71 (approximately 3,000 baht).
Forbes also noted that Beyoncé earned about $50 million from her special halftime performance during Netflix’s first live Christmas NFL game broadcast, plus another $10 million from being the lead spokesperson in a major Levi’s advertising campaign.
