On 30 December 2025, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, Mrs. Pich Chanmuni, visited and offered encouragement to soldiers and police officers wounded in the line of duty on the battlefield. The injured had been transferred to several hospitals in Phnom Penh for continued treatment.
The Cambodian Prime Minister posted on social media that he and his wife visited to boost the morale of the brave soldiers and police injured while defending the country. He expressed sincere gratitude for the great sacrifices made by all in protecting Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Prime Minister also wished all injured soldiers and police a swift recovery and good health so they could return to duty and reunite with their families.
At the same time, Hun Manet thanked all relevant agencies, especially doctors, nurses, and medical personnel, for their close cooperation in caring for, transporting, and treating soldiers and police from border hospitals to medical facilities in Phnom Penh with the utmost attention.
