On this occasion, the Russian leader also praised the Russian soldiers currently operating in Ukraine as heroes fighting for their homeland, truth, and justice. Putin reiterated that Russia will continue to support its special military operations despite facing pressure from Western countries and increasing casualty figures. His hardline stance comes as the Russia-Ukraine war approaches its fourth full year on 24 February.
