Japan's NHK WORLD-JAPAN is preparing to bring an "authentic Japan" experience to Thailand at the 31st Thai International Travel Fair, held from 22 to 25 January 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
NHK WORLD-JAPAN, the international media service of Japan's NHK television station, will once again bring a genuine Japanese experience to Thailand at the 31st Thai International Travel Fair, held from 22 to 25 January 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, LG Exhibition Hall 5–6.
This participation aims to present information about Japanese tourism, culture, and lifestyle in ways that engage Thai audiences through Thai-language content on television programs, online platforms, and activities at their booth.
Highlights at the NHK WORLD-JAPAN booth include comprehensive travel advice via the NHK WORLD-JAPAN application, games and special limited-edition giveaways, an activity for followers of NHK WORLD-JAPAN's Thai Facebook page to design and receive personalized metal can badges, and enjoyment of popular programs showcasing Japan's charm from fresh perspectives.
Another key highlight is a panel discussion on Thursday, 22 January at 16:15 on the main stage within the event, titled "Enjoy Traveling in Japan Even More with NHK WORLD-JAPAN."
This session will provide in-depth information for Thais planning to visit Japan, covering preparation, safe travel, and new cultural insights. Hosted by Chaiyarat Thomya, a presenter from NHK WORLD-JAPAN Thai, the panel includes notable guests from various fields sharing experiences: Kitti Singhapad, a news anchor and Japanese culture storyteller; At Bunak, a traveler and Japan-focused content creator; and Beam Sensei, a YouTuber and expert on Japanese language and culture, who will offer firsthand experience and tips for a deeper Japanese travel experience.
