Israeli media reported that the Israeli Air Force killed a total of 30 senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, within the first half-minute of the initial wave of attacks that occurred yesterday.
Israel's Channel 12 television stated that the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader occurred within just half a minute during the large-scale opening attack on Iran, while the N12 website reported that Israeli political and security authorities emphasized that this operation is only the beginning and may continue for several more days.
Several Israeli media outlets also highlighted the meticulous planning and close cooperation between the Israeli military and the United States, as well as the precision of intelligence used in this operation.
However, security analyst Yoav Limor from the Israel Hayom newspaper warned that disagreements might arise between the U.S. and Israel in the near future, pointing out that Israel is prepared for a prolonged war lasting weeks or possibly longer, but it remains unclear whether President Donald Trump will have the same level of patience.
Senior journalist Nahum Barnea from Yedioth Ahronoth commented that for the U.S., this may be a war of choice, but for Israel, it is a necessary war. Although Trump currently shows full support for Israel, there are warnings that U.S. public opinion could shift if the war drags on or expands.
