In an interview with Fox News hosted by Sean Hannity, Netanyahu was directly asked whether Israel pulled Donald Trump into war.
Netanyahu responded with laughter, saying, "That is complete nonsense. Donald Trump is the strongest leader in the world. He must do what he believes is right for America."
The Israeli leader also said he is well aware of the costs of war, but sometimes it is necessary to protect the country from serious threats.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed that the United States decided to strike Iran last Saturday as a preemptive measure.
Rubio stated that the US knew in advance that Israel was about to launch an operation, and if they had not acted first, the losses could have been greater.
Netanyahu's interview came amid political criticism in the United States that Israel may have pushed Washington to become involved in the latest conflict with Iran.
