Iran Sends Drones to Attack U.S. Consulate in Dubai U.S. Confirms Everyone Safe

The U.S. Consulate in Dubai was attacked by Iranian drones, with black smoke rising into the air. The U.S. Secretary of State confirmed that damage was minimal and everyone is safe.

The Associated Press released footage showing the U.S. Consulate in Dubai under drone attack, with black smoke billowing. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed that an Iranian drone struck a parking lot outside on Tuesday, causing a small fire, but there were no reported injuries and all staff are safe.

Although the frequency of Iranian missile and drone attacks has decreased, this near-miss incident demonstrates that Iran still has the capability to send weapons through U.S. defense systems.

The UAE government stated it has intercepted nearly all Iranian attacks, totaling more than 1,000 attempts so far.

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has ordered the evacuation of non-essential personnel and their families from several Middle Eastern countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. It also advised American citizens to leave the region, although many remain stranded due to widespread airspace closures amid ongoing instability.
